So this was our first time here, there was a line to order ...no biggie, because we were with a large group. They were quick with getting the food out and didn't make any errors- that's impressive! The food was DELICIOUS! There was a little kick to some of the dishes. They have a salsa bar- I feel like it's been forever since I've seen one of these (definitely since before COVID)! The QR code on the floor didn't work- I feel like it would've been cool to order thru the app. We will definitely be back.

I've been here a thousand times, it's in my neighborhood. They have changed over the recent years. Nowadays I stop in a few times a year. Not anymore. Not after yesterday. After completing a lot of yard work I decided I needed a treat and took myself out for an early dinner/late lunch. Nice and clean as i walked in. A friendly person from behind the counter took my order. It wasn't very crowded, no lines. Again weird time of day I guess but happy hour for draft beers, lol. No I originally wanted a shrimp bowl to go but decided on dining in and also ordered a michelada with dark modelo. I grabbed a couple salsa options from their salsa bar to fo with my old stale chips. Not impressed. It was a sign of things to come. My michelada arrived at my table, they were out of straws. Ok, no biggie.. I'll live.My order arrived and I forgot to say no cheese. That was my fault. I shoved the cheese off and dived in. So far ok. Then after a few hefty fork fulls I noticed one of the shrimp on its side and omg there it was...the vein. You know the shrimps digestive poop tract!!!!. I almost vomited I couldn't finish it...when my waitress came by I whispered to her the problem and showed her. She said let me be right back. She left never to be seen from again. I finished my michelada and left. That was it for that taqueria. It's Modesto, I'll find another place. Not as close to my house but I'm sure if I order shrimp it will be cleaned and de-veined.

Pretty good! Loved the salsa bar! We ordered chips not realizing we got the regular ones for free, so we had quite a few of the fluffy flour chips which were delicious for sure, just not what we had expected. Our burritos were great and the restaurant itself was a nice environment to be in! We ordered at a kiosk and grabbed a table number. We filled up our own drinks and the server brought our food to us! Great time and we will definitely be back!

This review is not about the food. Food is decent. But PLEASE update your hours of operation. My daughter drove from out of town. We pull up at 8:26pm hoping to have a sit down dinner to catch up. The girl at the register made it beyond clear they did not want diners sitting down. Online everywhere including their own website says open until 10pm. The cashier told us we can only get food to go because it's too close to 9- their closing time. I've never been turned away from dining inside a restaurant- especially one completely empty with half n hour left until closing. So we ordered food to go, ate in my car in the parking lot- and was done by NINE. Do better! Don't turn away diners like this and for goodness sakes UPDATE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION! Please teach your staff to accommodate customers that have very reasonable requests.
