Before I get to the food, I've gotta say the service is always top notch. We're pretty picky with what we want and dont want on our orders and they always get it right. The asada fries are so good and the carne asada nachos are my favorite. Carne asada nachos is my usual. Almost forgot, the chips and salsa are also really good. The chips are always fresh and crispy. The salsa is mild and the perfect consistency, not too thick or thin. The restaurant is a little on the small side so if you're coming with a big group you may not all fit but we've always been lucky I guess. It's small but always clean and you can smell the food cooking in the kitchen. Yum. Waterford is lucky to have a place like this. They've been here quite a while and I hope they're here for a long, long, time.

Amazing all around! Had a party of 50 people catered with Taqueria Castillo's food. The service when ordering the food was great, and day of pickup they loaded the back on my car with the food for me, fantastic service all around! And soo much delicious food for an extremely reasonable price! Will definitely continue to give them my business in the future!

I visited this restaurant in Waterford, CA a few years ago, so maybe things have changed since. I recall it being a very simple looking restaurant. The food was okay, nothing special that I can remember. I was there for a business meeting, therefore I remember the quiet atmosphere in which we were able to discuss our meeting topics without being drowned by the ambient noise you normally hear at a busy restaurant. They could use some sprucing up of the place to make it more warm and welcoming.

First time trying the asada fries. 100 percent recommended. My new favorite I always order ahead and just pick up at the window.

Best taqueria in town hands down! Been coming here since my childhood! Definitely recommend the burritos and their micheladas!

Definitely don't order over the phone. You'll never find your order. you'll get a surprise. This place sure isn't what it was years ago. Lost my business

Waterford Taqueria Castillo Fresh, fresh, fresh food. Delicious fish tacos, burritos, burgers & fries the bomb. People are so nice. Great chips and salsa I miss their salsa station, I hope it comes back soon. Hope you enjoy visiting.

This place has gone DOWNHILL!!!The last 3 times I have been there, the food quality has been very poor. Food is barely warm, and the shredded pork is VERY TOUGH!!!What a waste of money.

Best Mexican food in town! they catered our wedding and everything was on point and delicious. Every time we go there their food is always amazing and they are very consistent. Definitely would recommend this place.
