The birria is simply outstanding. Each bite is a testament to the family's dedication to authentic, flavorful Mexican cuisine. The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned, and the consommé was rich and aromatic, elevating the entire experience. You can tell that every dish is made with love and passed-down family recipes.In addition to the fantastic food, the service was impeccable. The family members were attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about their craft. They took the time to explain the menu and make recommendations, which made our meal even more enjoyable. Five stars for exceptional food, outstanding service, and the wonderful family that makes it all possible. We'll definitely be back!

I've been going to this truck for years and always enjoy their food. I recommend the quesabirria tacos, they are some of the best in the area. Also the quesadilla de birria and the nachos de birria are really good. Their birria has a unique flavor that I really enjoy. It doesn't taste like every other spot selling quesabirria.

Amazing authentic Mexican food. My wife and I had the quesatacos with consume and we were thrilled with the taste and texture. My kids got a burrito and the super quesadilla. Nothing disappointed and we can't wait to come back next time we're in town.

Located in the Shell gas station. Had the Birria tacos with consume. Presentation. On point. Had a good cheese pull. Could use a bit more salt in the consume. Salsa was ok. Birria tacos were good.

Right next to the hotel. I eat birria everywhere I can find it. This stuff is DELICIOUS. Eat there, I dare you!

Tacos Y Birria La Perla is a small food truck located on the corner of W 1st street and Pacheco Rd in Los Banos. Locals frequent this food truck so it is in favor with the town. We ordered the combo plate with beans, rice, and meat and quesotacos with broth. I regret to say the broth for the tacos and combo plate are the same -- so I'd recommend ordering only one of those items. In terms of seasoning, the rice was cooked well and flavorful but the beans were too salty for my taste. We enjoyed the big portion of the combo plate but it costs $12. That price is hard to justify given that this is parking-lot seating, non air-conditioned, small town, and food truck set up.

The food here is good especially since it is one of the few quesabirria places in town. I usually get the quesatacos by themselves or the combo. They recently raised their price to $3.50 a taco so for $1.50 more you can get the side of rice and beans which I think is worth it if you want to have a more varied meal. Edit* The 10% advertised discount for paying with cash is not being charged taxes on your food or the .75 card transaction fee not an actual discount applied afterwards. Owner was very respectful and reached out and clarified this for me.

Great delicious food made to order - excellent Birria and quezabirria tacos also - at the shell gas station on Pacheco in Los Banos - way better than the other Birria truck across the street - don't mistaken that one for la perla !!
