I have had this place twice already and it's the food is pretty solid! My most recent visit, I ordered a carne asada burrito and my husband got the carne asada fries. The portions are great! The size of my burrito was quite big! They did not skimp out on the amount of meat in there. I especially like my burrito because the ratio with everything in there was perfect. The carne asada meat was delicious. They chop it down into pieces which is different than most carne asada burritos I've had. I can't believe I finished that thing, I must of been hungry or it must of been that good I had to finish it LOL. My husband was very satisfied with his carne asada fries. It is smothered with melted cheese, almost like the nacho type of cheese. Great portion size again! They have a nice sauce station for you to get your sauces yourself. My husband especially like how they pack the food Togo. It's Saran wrapped making sure no spillage. The staff was very friendly and my husband had a good experience ordering through the phone. The shop is located inside another store. Pretty busy at the time when my husband picked up the order, but our food came to us pretty quickly. Think this might be my good to Mexican food joint to go to that's near home. Will definitely recommend checking out this spot!

This was our first time trying this location. It's located inside of the Liquor Store on the corner of Cornelia & Shields. The staff were very friendly and attentive. They answered all my questions regarding meat options and items on the menu. It's a Friday night so it was very busy. When my daughter and I walked in, there was a line and people eating in the tables that are available. Overall, the ambiance was busy but chill. We felt comfortable and didn't wait too long either. We have been searching for the perfect burrito that has everything we want without it being a small burrito. I'm sad to say that the different restaurants and Taco Trucks we've went to, did not deliver on the size or food inside the burrito. But I'm so pleased to report that this is the closest to perfect we've gotten here in Fresno. We usually have so many options in the Bay Area but surprisingly, Fresno doesn't for Burritos. My husband ordered the burrito. He said it was perfect and the best he's tried in Fresno, so far. The burrito checked all the boxes: meat, rice, beans, sour cream, guacamole, cheese, pico de gallo, and a nice size! 5/5 hands down! The torta was very generous in size and meat. I could only eat half of it, I was stuffed. Great flavor and not soggy, which is a pet peeve of mine. 5/5Lastly, they have so many options for salsas. This is the first place I've been to that offers this many salsas along with lemons, radishes, cabbage, cilantro, cebolla, and other condiments. They all had their own unique flavor, which gives everyone an option that goes there. My favorite was the green Molcajete salsa, full of flavor & spice, with the perfect consistency. 5/5We highly recommend this place and we will definitely be returning.

6/10/23 Egg white and ham breakfast burrito ordered with extra hot sauce on the side. Grilled jalapeños ordered in it too! The worker was very kind and said I'm #34 and it would be ready in 10 minutes. I went in to get it. It was very busy! The worker wasn't very nice, but at least the order was ready. Paid for it and she did not include hot sauce like asked. She told me to do it myself and pointed at the salsa bar. Okay. This burrito better be good! LOL! 6/11/23 Happy sunday everyone! Got breakfast ready. Per usual. Burrito split. It is LARGE! Plenty for two. My half was really fresh and delicious! Love the added jalapeños and hot salsa! Tasty! I'm sure mother will feel the same about her half.Really wish the service was good, but at least the burrito was good! Not worth the drive with the service.

Noisy yelling cashier was semi-friendly but rude. Yelling near and around customers to carry on conversations way across the store is tacky. This location is way on the other side of town for me but was worth the drive. Despite coming at 9PM, the last hour, it was busy... They charged me like $4.00 to add cheese to a burrito and a torta and there was NONE! Will never add that again. The food was delish and well made otherwise. I found it perfectly seasoned and nicely textured. But $23.00 seemed a bit much, especially without cheese! The same loud cashier lied to me when I showed her there was no cheese and tried to convince me it was on there. I believe I've mastered my 'cheese 101' class and it was shameful to insist it was on there..... Took a star off and will think twice about adding any tip next time. And it's pretty sketchy that all of their sales don't even register when they 'ring' them up unless you're paying with a credit card.. how is that even possible without rigging the register so you can pocket money? It's a liquor store so expect the type of riffraff associated with such locations. Including drunks wandering around outside.... I'm sure there's a lot of crime around here! The food came out quite hot, temperature wise. As it should. There is a nice selection of salsa and other toppings like pickled onions from the salsa station. Personally, I never met an onion I never liked. Seems like they're making a killing here...Will def order again here, but use ear plugs!-G

If you love roaches, bland food and racism; this is your spot! The woman at the counter looked my white ass up and down as my husband and I approached the counter to place our order. As my husband was placing our order we witnessed a roach crawling up the wall to which I thought to myself THIS PLACE IS GOING TO BE GOOD! My husband and I smiled at each other like we knew we were in for some great tasting food, as we usually agree that the best food comes from the most hole in the wall ghetto spot... as we sat down and began eating our tasteless food, neither my husband or myself were impressed with our food or the salsa options. Very disappointing experience and food. I have a feeling all the 5 star reviews are paid actors. 10/10 don't recommend

Randomly came here a year ago when I was craving a breakfast burrito... must have been fate or something because this is by far the best breakfast burrito I've had. It's hard to explain but it's just so perfectly balanced, not too much egg, just enough bacon, the cheese just blends into the refried beans, which are creamy and to die for. The tortilla is the perfect thin but slightly chewy texture, and it soaks up all the oil perfectly. They have what I think is a red molcajete salsa--- heavenlyyyy with the burrito. Perfect amount of smokiness and slightly acidic from the tomatillos, pairs so well with the salty bacon in the burrito. I came back just again just to make sure it wasn't my appetite clouding my judgement... then I went back again and again. It's just a good burrito. The ambience is very hole in the wall-- inside a liquor/convenience store, so you don't come here for ambience, or exceptional customer service (which is just okay, no complaints, nothing extraordinary)-- it's just the food.I will add that I love the way they wrap the burrito too. They wrap it in foil, and then Saran Wrap it to a disposable plate. Keeps the burrito so warm and from sliding around my bag.

Super busy place therefore it should be good and it is. First time was great and second time, the carne asada was a bit overcooked. It was dry.

Food is amazing here but their time management, not so much. They say they open at 8am on Sunday. I waited until 8:15 to give them some time to open, was told it would be about a 15-20 minute wait which is fine. There were 2 customers ahead of me and we're all still sitting here at 8:50 and no one has been served. Yet the ladies are yapping away being loud obnoxious while 7 customers have been waiting for almost an hour. Maybe they shouldn't open until 9am or have better time management. Customer service can use some work depending on who is working the register. Most of the ladies are great though! Food is amazing once again, that's why I continue to return!
