Tacos Los Pericos

This is absolutely one of my go too! I absolutely love their food, their staff is amazing! It's not loud at all, it's always clean. We come at least 2/3 times a month! Best part is the do have muendo 7 days a week!

My husband was having lunch here and ordered me three tacos de carne asada with everything. The shredded cabbage, cilantro and onion was missing. Oh, the disappointment. Also the menudo here is awful that is putting it kindly. It has a very strange taste and I have had menudo from many places. I only took one bite. It got dumped, what a waste.I posted a picture of the naked tacos but it does not appear.

This the first and last time I ever eat here! We ordered menudo we're not dumb we know it's outta the can!

I'm a visitor from LA county, and we were looking for menudo and found the perfect spot. It was delicious and not to mention good flavor. The chilaquiles also had a good taste not spicy, I'm picky with my rice it has to be good. And this was full flavor and well cooked.

Mexican restaurant in a strip mall complex. Came here for dinner around 6:30pm and there was plenty of seating. We had the grande carne asada fries and a la carte tacos. Alcohol is not available for purchase. Credit cards are accepted. After you eat, you go up to the counter to pay. Complimentary chips and salsa are provided. They have two single occupant restrooms. Plenty of parking available. The carne asada was plentiful but the fries were soggy and there was too much sour cream. It would've been nice to have pico de gallo, but they did include a small sauce cup of guacamole. They were out of lengua when we were there, but the tripas and the cabeza were great. The chicharron was alright.

So I came back, and I ordered the carnita plate, looked really good but the taste was lacking and my pork was very hard, almost like jerky. My beans were very watery too. The prices have gone up, or I just didn't pay attention last time. I won't be back.

Muy rico, recomiendo la carne asada también! Las tortillas hechas a mano. La horchata sabe mucha a canela

Today we tried los Pericos. The restaurant was clean and the staff seemed friendly enough. Unfortunately the service and food were unsatisfactory. We ordered 2 plates. The first was the asada fries. The food came out cold and the presentation was not great. The fries were very average and the cheese was 1/2 way melted. The asada was cooked but had an " interesting " flavor to them. Over all the meal felt like it was microwaved and served. The second plate was a Carne asada burrito. The burrito was hot and looked good on the plate. After cutting into the plate the rice was more mush than rice. Very poor taste and texture. The burrito was extremely " wet " and overall unappealing. Total wait time from ordering our meals until the food reached our table was not horrible but not the fastest. The Asada fries took 16 minutes and the burrito took 24 minutes.The restaurant is very new and I hope they can get squared away.

Great customer service. The food smells good and I haven't tasted it yet. The salsa was good with the chips. 100/10 overall. Dont miss out if your passing by this city! BUSSIN! Great spot if your craving mariscos or any seafood!

Best food and the friendliest people. Was shopping in the area and saw a sign advertising Taco Tuesdays, so thought why not drop in for a quick snack. On the way in there was an amazing restored car in the parking lot. I snapped a picture and continued to walk towards the establishment. A gentleman approached me and smiled as he put his key in the car door, saying $2 please. I returned the gesture by asking if I could buy him a drink in the restaurant instead and we shared a laugh. He went in the restaurant, but I believe he may have been the owner. Upon entering we were pleasantly, greeted and offered any seat in the house. We took our desired seats and were asked shortly after. If we'd like drinks. We ordered drinks and again received them in short time. We gave our order and decided to try a little of each, so it was fish tacos, quesa birria, and chicken tacos.The tacos came in good time and there's nothing else I can say other than they were nothing short of amazing! We love this restaurant and we will soon become regulars. (A note to the owner: we threw a couple extra bucks on the tip. But not for the picture of the car. For the friendly exchange that we so appreciated, which is so in tune with the warm people of this area).
