Tacos el Mandilon

I asked what the Birria burrito was, what meat it is etc. She kept saying yea. Ok she don't speak English ,,, she walked away.Next person to help me, I asked again , she pointed to the picture on their truck. I again asked what the burrito has in it. Ok, so I guess it's pork. I ordered it as the line grew behind me. 10 minutes later I got a small burrito ,, it was ok. But for $14.07,,, and the highest thing on the menu was $9.99 ,, that's some tax.

I don't usually make reviews but I had to this time. Stopped by and tried their quesabirria tacos with consome and their shrimp tacos, what can I say the food was great! The service was quick and easy also with a buzzer to alert you your food is ready. This is real, authentic and fully flavored mexican food. I have had the carne asada from there before and it was perfectly tender, well seasoned and had a great smokey flavor to it. I will have them everytime they are by the college!

The queso birria was good, get it with the consome! Ten bucks for two with consome, cucumber and lemon on the side, plus red and green salsa. Yummy.

Customer service is everything... rude lady taking our order. My order came out to $38.62 and I gave her $40 told her to keep the change and she looked at me... laughed and rolled her eyes. LOL. Yeah never again with that attitude. The meat was hard and very hard to chew. Never again

The tacos were just okay. I had gotten 4 asada, 2 pastor, and 2 chorizo.I loved how fragrant the corn tortillas were but that's about it. Asada meat tasted like hamburgers. Pastor wasn't well-seasoned. Chorizo was probably my favorite. Got both red and green salsa and neither were spicy or flavorful. They were kinda rude too. I don't know why but when I ordered, she just looked at me. There was a long pause before she said "okay, anything else?" When they called my number, I went up to the window. She asked if I wanted red or green and I said both. She tossed the salsa in the bag, tied it up, tossed the bag to me, then closed the window screen. Since I've had better tacos from nicer food trucks, I won't be back here.

Had their tacos at Taco truck throwdown and they were my favorite tacos there! Sad they didn't win but so glad I found my new favorite taco place!

If you're looking for great food and drinks for any event, Tacos el MandilON is your spot! We initially had their food at a friends party. It was so good, we started following them on IG and booked them for our next party! All of their meat is bomb, the rice, even the horchata & cucumber lemonade is bomb. They came to our home for my daughters 1st birthday and customer service did not disappoint. Their entire process took the hassle out of us cooking or picking up food and leaving it out all day. These guys were making tacos the entire 2 hours we had them so they were fresh and hot. Highly recommend!
