Tacos El Grullense Jal 2

This is my favorite spot to grab a bite when I'm visiting my family in Chowchilla. The service is always quick, the food tastes authentic and at a good price too! There's even a drive thru that you can use if you're on the go even though the food does NOT taste like fast food. The place used to be a Taco Bell so it has a nostalgic feel inside when I do decide to eat indoor. Lots of sitting space. As for location, it's in a good spot. Right off the 99 HWY so you can get off, grab a bite to eat and continue on your way. I highly recommend this place.

10/10 asada tacos and super burritos would absolutely come back to try others! We only get super burritos and tacos and they had insane flavor!

Taxo plate was good. It's a lot of food.The Jamaica was good. Place has a good traffic flow of customers sorry o forgot to take pictures but will next time

I was staying at a RV park down the street just for a night and before taking the 99 freeway I noticed this place was open for breakfast. On top of that, there were these two sheriffs chowing down on tacos at their parking lot. It's Chowchilla California! It must be good right? It indeed was.Tried one of each (asada, pollo, and carnitas). Honestly, I wish I didn't have to share my plate of tacos. Should've doubled the order. No joke! Simple, but perfect. I found this place perfect for truck drivers and RVers. They have a large parking lot for big rigs. It sure beats the rest stops. Get these tasty tacos!

This place feels like a fast food restaurant so I was expecting some okay food. I was so wrong, this place has the most authentic good-tasting Mexican food I've had at a fast food type restaurant. I ordered the lengua tacos, breakfast burrito, and a horchata. Lengua tacos tasted really good and they reminded me of taco truck-style tacos. The breakfast burrito was good, the only downside is that it's a bit small so you'll have to order a side to fill you up. The horchata was really good, it tasted very fresh and not bad like I've had at other more expensive Mexican restaurants. Also, another good thing about this restaurant is that it was very clean inside, the floor looked mopped, and the seating areas looked wiped down. The other reviews have very high expectations for a restaurant that has nicely priced food. You get what you pay for.

Stopped here on the highway and it was really good. The workers are very nice. It would recommend it even though it's not near big towns

This place used to be very good, Not anymore employees have a very bad attitude I ordered 4 tacos I asked for extra cilantro and onions, which they charged me extra for.When I got home there was hardly onions or cilantro.So I called the restaurant lady that answered the phone says I can't do nothing manager will call u tomorrow who's name is NachoIt's Been 2 weeks no call yetIf your going to charge customers extra for anything and everything please make sure customers get itI do not recommend going here and I won't be going back either

I love their menu options, everything is always so good, aside from their customer service is not so good. They always seem in a rush & for years now their drive thru speaker isn't so good. They've got my order wrong multiple time due to that & it's frustrating

The customer service was not good. The ladies working there seemed always in a rush. The food was okay. The environment wasn't even clean. the tables had little crumbs of food all over the place. Overall, this place is okay. It could have been better.

I have been coming here for years and have been willing to deal with the continuously increasing prices but today 02/21/2024 at 6pm I paid 24 bucks for too very cold not cooked burritos...I had to microwave them because they came out of the frigerator.never again.
