The dude and I came here for Fresno Street eats event on the 09/03/20 as we wanted to come out and support the local Fresno Streets Eats event. The dude wanted me to look this place up and they had some pretty good reviews! So my expectations for this place a little high. The staff was hands down so friendly and the male owner shared he is an Oakland A's fan which they were excited to run into another A's fan as I guess it's rare in the Central Valley. Now the food was pretty good! The dude ended up getting 2 $4 dollar tacos which for the price was not worth it at all..the shrimp taco was good but not worth $4 at all! The pork belly taco was good but definitely not worth $4 either! The dude was still hungry. They did have $2 tacos too which we thought the $4 tacos would be more filling.I do not recommend the $4 tacos but I do want to try the $2 tacos whenever we get the chance to. Overall it was a good experience and would give them a try again!

I came across the new Taco Macheen truck at Tioga-Sequoia and had heard good things so I had to try it. I couldn't work out why it was so familiar at first, til the receipt came from Taste Kitchen. Then I realized it was the people behind this taco shop that I visited a couple of years ago.Well, the tacos are delicious. I got one of each of their carne asada, al pastor, and shrimp and queso. They're $3-4 apiece, definitely a premium product! All 3 tacos had a ton of fillings, so you get what you pay for. They're also made with skill. The asada was good, they had crisped up the outsides a little which varied the texture. It's not the most flavorful asada I've had but it was solid, and I appreciate the technique. The al pastor was my next favorite, it was pretty juicy. Again really filling. But far and away my favorite was the shrimp and queso. They char the cheese a little which gives it a really nice flavor and texture. It's a good and melty cheese, too. The shrimp is in a really tasty, lightly spicy marinade and was cooked perfectly, giving a great pop as you bite into each piece. I could have eaten 3 more.I'll definitely be looking out for the Taco Macheen while I'm out and about now!

Mmmm....Every Thursday, there are food trucks downtown. Today, I noticed the beautiful blue food truck called Taste. The menu was small and simple. I ordered one shrimp and one cauliflower taco with a side of guacamole. When my order came out, I squeezed red salsa on my cauliflower taco and green salsa on the shrimp. I walked back to my office, open plate in hand and sat at my desk to take my first bite. They. Were. AMAZING! I love the melted cheese and the pickled onions. The salsa is spicy but it taste great with the guacamole to cool it down. Both tacos were $3 and .75 to add guac. I hope Taste food truck keeps coming downtown on Thursdays!

If you're looking for some cheap greasy Mexican food just go to your little local hole in the wall place or Robertitos. Taste kitchen is not the place, it is Mexican fare but with a creative, unique gourmet twist. The quality of ingredients is top notch, most notably their Harris ranch pork belly, Mary's free range chicken and their shrimp! I honestly don't think their prices are steep at all, in fact I find it very reasonable considering the level of quality. Tacos range from $2.50-$3.50. I recommend hitting them up between 11-2pm for lunch they have specials such as 3 tacos for $9. That way you can sample different proteins. You'll also get free chips and salsa. I'm not much of a pork eater but their pork belly is quite delicious, and they don't skimp with the shrimp either. I know it may be a bit of a trek for a lot of people but it is definitely worth trying. I do know they frequent Hi-Top Coffee on Saturday nights in the tower district, and also attend special events just follow them on social media.

The place was empty and the service was very friendly. I have wanted to try this restaurant for awhile and I'm glad I did. Free chips and salsa. Always a bonus Orderd the pork belly taco at 3.50 each. This was delicious. It was very juicy and tender. The flavor was amazing. I would definitely order this again. The taco dripped a significant amount of juice/water/im not sure what, but then it was fine.Bacon and egg taco 3.79 each. This is not on the menu but it was mentioned and it sounded so good. The taco was a bit salty for my liking, but I would still order this again. The egg was over easy and it ran just the perfect amount without making a huge mess. The bacon added the perfect crunch. This would be a great breakfast or brunch taco to have.My friend ordered the cauliflower taco and the shrimp taco. She said both were amazing. The cauliflower is not on the menu.I will definitely be returning. The prices are a bit steep I think but the quality is there and I assume its because everything is organic. This is exactly the type of restaurant I was hoping to get in Sunnyside too. They do take out as well!

Mexican American Street Food I became a fan of taste kitchen. It's worth the drive out to Kings Canyon and Fowler. The menu is simple and they do have menu specials. I tried and enjoyed the veggie bowl. With grilled Cauliflower. One taco is all I need for a meal. The Aqua frescas are excellent. Anything on the menu you can't go wrong. The staff is friendly and the food is good. I like that they have a unique spin on Mexican fair.

The BF has a cheeseburger burrito and was delicious. Fresh hot chips for free. I had the shrimp salad w black beans w that squeeze of lime and pickled red onions . Surprisingly a lil too much rice although the rice was as good as mine , I just wanted a lil more salad. Tall coke for him and ice water for me. The service was really good and the request for feedback was offered and just more spring mix salad was taken into consideration and told me I could request for next time . Yes next time I will b back for a meal under $10. I wish I got his name but thanks for a quick dinner before home . I can see what u are trying to do here and good luck !

Really amazing street tacos. I was really looking forward to trying the tacos and was not disappointed. I ordered the box lunch which came with beans and rice and I had one pork belly taco and one shrimp taco. Both of the tacos were super delicious and would get the same thing next time I visit. The rice and beans were a bit too salty for my taste so I wouldn't order that again. The location was nice-lots of parking and the restaurant itself was really nicely decorated-everything was clean as well. My total meal with the drink was $11-definitely worth it if you like the rice and beans. The menu was simple and perfect-plenty of different drink offerings as well. Highly recommend!
