The food and service at Tabachines Cocina are fantastic. I came here with a large group for dinner. Reservation was made beforehand. Service was attentive. Memorable dishes include spicy shrimp tostadas, green ceviche, crab crouquette, and the chorizo fettuccini pasta.

The food and drinks are always spot on here. The service is also excellent. If you're looking for the melted cheese and shredded lettuce type of place- this is not it, but they have incredible steak dishes and some great fusion options. I highly recommend their guacamole with salsas.

Me personally, not my kind of restaurant. The menu options aren't really anything I'd go for. Pretty calm in there, older crowd. So just not really for me! But if you're a seasoned couple on a date you might enjoy it.I wouldn't be back, but the restaurant is fine so giving it 3 stars out of fairness. Don't let me deter you from trying them! I might be crazy or need to try dinner.

As a Latina, I take the word "authentic" with a grain of salt. It's almost impossible finding a restaurant that really captures the essence of Hispanic dishes. Or so I thought. This restaurant had been highly recommended to me and I finally got to experience it. My gosh was it an experience. To start we had reservations for 7:30pm, we arrived about an hour early due to schedule conflict but with a hope that they would seat us anyway. The hostess (the owner) promptly sat us and exuded great customer service the whole evening. My parents and I found it very respectful that she conversed in Spanish with us. Just this alone was already leaning me towards a high rated review. And then we had the food. Which sealed the deal. The guacamole was so fresh which paired wonderfully with the perfectly salted tostada chips. The shrimp appetizer had the perfect amount of spice, I will definitely order it again. My plate was the chicken mole. Now this was amazing. The chicken was juicy and splendidly crusted which when dipped into the mole made it the perfect combo. The mole was not too sweet nor spicy. You could literally taste every single ingredient that was toasted. All this paired with the perfect sweet wine tied it all together. My parents both agreed that their plates definitely made it to their top 5. Coming from them says a lot. As for the desserts our favorites were the churro and the cheesecake. The only regret we have is that we decided to share our desserts rather than getting our own. We won't make that mistake again! I definitely recommend this restaurant and I'm excited to try their brunch menu soon!

The perfect place for a fancy date night, friend get-together, or a treat yoself type of celebration. This is my second time coming here but I'm finally leaving a review! Came here on a Saturday night with a party of 5 for a celebration dinner via reservation (highly suggest reserving online!!) and the place was bustling! Being in here makes you feel like you're in a different tax bracket... but also simultaneously super cozy and welcoming??? The interior itself is stunning: the wooden wall accents, the beautiful mosaic, the green and blue hues, and the ambient lighting?? SHEESH!The service is impeccable. The waitstaff was so incredibly attentive - constantly filling up our waters, being super patient when we were figuring out what to order, AND switching our plates/cutlery between dishes??? I've never experienced that before! It felt so boujee!!! I love that they have a seasonal menu and they pride themselves on using locally source ingredients which you can definitely taste in their dishes! The food:〰 Charred Ceviche (10/10): This was so so fresh! Not overly fishy; had the perfect bite with the radish, cucumber, and red onion. The fresno chilis in it added the perfect kick.〰 Crab Croquette (7/10): This was pretty good! I think I'm not that much of a crab cake girlie so take my ranking with a grain of salt. My family enjoyed it! So if you like crab, you'd love it I'm sure.〰 'Saucy' Salmon (9.5/10): I am DEFINITELY a salmon stan. This was yummy. The salmon was perfectly cooked and it paired well with mashed potatoes. The pan broth was delicious. I wish the spicy relish was a bit more spicy, but other than that, delicious! I cleaned that bowl up so fast, I think I concerned my family with how fast I ate it.We were too stuffed for desserts, but their desserts sounded delish! I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for an experience + super fresh food! I would come back again.

If you are looking for something different to try rather than the typical Mexican food this would be the place. The menu is small and changes every season. I had their peach margarita which is on its way out since summer is done. It was very refreshing.I chose their chicken mole as there wasn't really anything else that peaked my interest.I was hoping they had soup but I didn't see it offered. The chicken mole was good. The chicken itself was a little on the dry side but once you covered it in mole it did the trick. The service was good. The atmosphere started out quiet but as the evening wore on it was a little too loud and we couldn't hear our conversation. It's worth a try.

The food was actually not too bad! But when I first walked in, it wasn't what I was expecting but ended up being really good! I had the saucy salmon. The salmon was soooo yummy and I had the churro- it was warm and fluffy! My sister had the ribeye and it was good. It came cut up! The service was really good! My water was always filled and the waiter was always checking on us! The ambiance was nice the music wasn't too loud or low. The bar is beautiful! I would go back especially for the dessert!

Amazing! First time trying Tabachines for us, we went in for brunch. Service at this place is 10/10 hands down the best service at a restaurant we have ever experienced. We were greeted at the door by Sam, and instantly treated like old friends. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about their food and had great recommendations. Their tequila line is amazing! I honestly don't think I've had a better margarita anywhere. This place cares about the food and drink they're putting in front of their customers and it shows. I get annoyed when business owners add photos to their Yelp page, and then the food you order never looks the same. Well, our food looked just like the photos, and it was all delicious. We are looking forward to going back for taco "Thursday".

Why would you want to eat anywhere else in Fresno? After Tabachines Cocina moved from LA to Fresno, it has become a staple for my family & I. I've celebrated birthdays, anniversarys, holidays, and even came here the night before our rehearsal dinner for a bridal party meal. Being vegan, it's pretty tricky finding places I can eat and trust they know what I mean. But Tabachines has never failed to come through for me. The service is outstanding every time, the vibe is always relaxed and calm, and we are always blown away by whatever chef is able to make for us that night. I pray that they one day bring back my favorite drink, The Mexican Space program but for now the Paper Crane hits the spot. They make us feel like family and have found the way to our hearts: with their guac & their mole. Fresno would be lost without them.
