My son went from being scared to get into the pool to jumping off the diving board in 3 lessons. By the last lesson he was swimming. So amazing. He loved both of his swim instructors. Better experience than expected. Can't wait for next year to start my daughter and have my son learn more.

***If you're looking for a swim school that's home based and has kids running all over the parking lot banging on your car doors and windows then this is the swim school for you**My son attended Swell swim school for almost 2 seasonsUnfortunately this last season was cut short by the owner Katy. I wish I would've known sooner the type of business owner this place had and I would've took our money elsewhere. Story time: My son and I show up one day for his swim lesson, I notice there's a little boy running all over the parking lot, banging on customers windows and doors trying to direct traffic for "fun play" I try and let it go it since I have kids of my own, but this kid was persistent on following my son and I telling us rules for his parking lot and etc, I then disengage with the kid as I don't want to be late for our swim lesson and this kid (same from the parking lot, about 3-4 year old) tells me he's going to "shoot me in the face with his nerf gun" he tells me this because he notices I'm not paying attention anymore and he wants me to understand his rulesI'm appalled and shocked that a kid this age would say this? I'm wondering where the parents for this kid are since he's wandering around alone.. mind you I'm with my son who would NEVER say something like this to a stranger so I'm walking away and I tell my son that's a bad kid we don't say that I don't say that directly to the little boy I say it to my son so he understands this type of behavior is not okay. Long story short, we go on with the day & my son attends his swim lesson with his phenomenal teacher Miss Lauren and right when his swim lesson is over my son is changing into dry clothes.. the owner Katy who it's my first time meeting comes up to me in-front of all the other parents waiting and confronts me about the situation and has his son apologize which I thought was nice however she follows this apology with letting me know there's "no such thing as a bad kid" and ensures to let me know that this kid running around was hers and that it's his house. I then proceed to let her know, her kid told me that he would shoot me in the face with his nerf gun in-front of my son which is NOT okay and this owner seemed to disregard that.. she was more concerned on the fact that her sons feelings were hurt. I forgot to add that I'm also super pregnant at the moment, so I don't have time for the drama let alone cause a scene in-front of other parents at this facility so I let Katy know this incident wouldn't happen again and she says "good" and walks awayWell, I guess Katy didn't like my response because Literally, a couple of mins later as I'm about to take off with my son since we are done for the day Katy, immaturely comes up to me & states she doesn't feelComfortable with my son attending her swim school anymore and that this lesson he just completed would be his LAST one , oh & that we would get a refund for the remaining classes my son has left... (in front of ALL THE OTHER PARENTS)Mind you my son still has a couple of lessons left In his swim season, I'm appalled and shocked and embarrassed that Katy would take this out on my son who had NOTHING to do with the situation. Pretty much my son had to change back into his swim clothes, graduate early and get his medal. All this is happening as the next kid now has to wait for his swim lesson to start with Miss Lauren due to the owner kicking my son out of her school & miss Lauren having to spend extra time with my son to have him "graduate". Again, I am soooooo embarrassed, angry and in shock at how Katy (the owner) handled all this. As a parent, I let my son know he did awesome and that is why he was graduating early from swim school since he's questioning on why that was his last swim day.. Later this day I go home let my husband know what happened he's just as upset as I am he contacts Swell Swim school & Katy's husband answers, they have a conversation & my husband asks if my son is able to finish his remaining swim lessons.. the owner lets my husband know he will talk to his wife and get back to us which he did later in the day & saysNope, my son is not allowed back. This was just not the way I pictured this high rating swim school to be, it's upsetting. However, note that this situation that happened to me can happen to ANY parent that attends this school if it hasn't already so just be mindful of that i'd recommend looking into other swim schools that are actually professional to avoid any mishaps. :)

My son just completed his 10th and final lesson yesterday and I have to say hands down this is the BEST swim school for your child! My son learned all the basics and was swimming and diving by the time he finished! We love all the teachers especially Daly who recommended my son try the Clovis Swim Club after this summer. They run a tight ship, has flexible scheduling , great shaded pool area and a place for families to sit with misters during the summer. We love this school and highly recommend them, you won't regret it!

We absolutely love Miss Lauren who is our daughter's (3-yr old) swim instructor. When my daughter first started, she would cry all the way from the parking lot to the pool (note: she's never been in a pool before). Miss Lauren was always so patient with her and talks so sweetly to her. She really built that trust with our daughter and we can see her confidence and growth. It's only been her 4th session so far, and she is enjoying it so much (no more tears!) It's really my favorite part of the day -- seeing my daughter be so brave and excited about something new. Thank you so much to Miss Lauren and Swell Swim! We are definitely enrolling her again next year.

I cannot say enough good things about Swell. They are awesome! From Katy, the owner, to all the swim coaches. I have 2 kiddos and have done 4 summers with Swell. They are amazing. My daughter who refused to put her face in the water was swimming after the first day.

One of the best swimming schools in Fresno/ Clovis area . My 6 year old never took swimming lessons and was never inside a pool and with just 10 lessons she was doing strokes and become a independent swimmer . Her instructor was awesome . The pool is kept very clean . After taking lessons here , we tired some other places ( as they were full for the season ) but my daughter always complained of dirty pool water and the instructor not being fully attentive to her . We will be coming back next year to enhance the swimming skills .

This place is very special. The care, attention and thought that Katy puts into her school and lessons is without comparison. We tried other schools prior to Swell and didn't have the same success. Our 3 and 5 year old were both scared of the water and after 10 lessons they're jumping off the diving board and swimming across the pool. So happy with our experience. Highly recommended Katy and Swell Swim School.

I was hesitant to post a bad review because the teachers are the best. Will your kid learn to swim here ? Yes. My child went when she was two and by the time she was four she was diving without fear. I paid for 8-10 sessions a year. I didn't care about the price. My issue is not even with Katy the owner who has helped me with misunderstandings in the past and who trains the teachers. My issue is with the husband Kevin. He's just roaming around all day at the school like a security guard and he isn't very nice either. Even though he smiles you can see the arrogance in his cold blue eyes. My daughter suffers from respiratory issues and they moved to a place with a huge dirt lot they're using to park cars. You'd think with all the money they make they'd put asphalt to create a real parking lot but nope. So I would park in the front sometimes with the emergency lights on to get my daughter down cuz the dirt that flies in the air when you drive on it can activate her asthma and he'd immediately zero in on me saying that parking lot is for his family and teachers only with that smile that doesn't meet his eyes. It didn't stop me from dropping her off in the front here and there but still it was a headache. I was going to pay another session last year in July after finishing several sessions earlier in the year but I'll admit I took a little long to send the money to reserve my spot because I was swamped where I was working at while also going through a personal issue. So basically a lot of things on my plate. I'm not at home roaming around all day zeroing in on people in the comfort of my home. I'm monitoring surgeries for a living. You'd think after years being with them and just having done a session earlier the same year he'd be a little understanding but nope husband calls me accusing me of ignoring his calls when I was at work. I told him I can't answer while at work but he said I ignored him and if I didn't pay right then and there he'd drop the classes and so I didn't pay and let them drop the classes cuz I was honestly so tired of his attitude cuz I'm paying him. I also forgot to add ONE time my car's battery died while passing Sanger on my way to the swimming class. I called to explained the situation and Kevin answered coldly told me that if I'm late I basically don't get a do-over for class even if there is a cancellation. He didn't care it was 100 degrees and I was sitting on the side of the road with my child. He was cold as ice. Either way I got an Uber and made it to the school an hour later. I explained the situation to the swim teacher through tears and asked if my daughter could at least take a dip in the pool to cool off as she was burning hot from waiting all those minutes on the side of the road with me. The teacher talked to Kate who did end up letting me make up the session with her as her student was a no show. So again this is Kevin and unfortunately he's Kate's husband. Which is the only reason I will attend no longer. Kevin only cares about you putting money in HIS pocket. Not you and most definitely not your child. If you can stomach Kevin long enough for your child to learn how to swim then this is the place. And if not you've been warned.

I cannot say enough good things about this swim school! I've sent so many friends their way. They are gentle and kind, but push your child to grow. By the end of season one my son was jumping in and pulling himself from the water at 18 months old. We've been back for three years now and it keeps getting better. There is a true feeling of community. The location is spacious and feels like home. Katy and her family are warm and welcoming. We'll be coming back for years to come!
