Sweet Cakes By Tay

Was introduced to Tay and her business during a Yelp Event. She had 5 mini cupcake samples left I was fortunate to have gotten the opportunity to try them. I could just remember how delicious and moist the cakes were but also loved the taste of the buttercream, it was light on my palate and not overwhelming sweet compared to other buttercream's I've tasted. It was definitely one of the best tasting buttercream I've EVER had. I just knew I had to order some for my upcoming event. I reached out to her via IG and also made an inquiry/ requested for a quote on her website. She emailed be back the next morning with a very detailed quote. She was very responsive and kind. We exchanged a few emails and I finally decided what I wanted. I ordered one dozen customized moon and star themed strawberry with vanilla buttercream cupcakes. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to be placed on her calendar. She texted me a few days before my event to confirm my order and we set up a date and time for me to pick up. The day of pick up I texted and called her I was there and she greeted me outside and gave me verbal instructions on time frames of when it was best to serve them. The cupcakes were beautifully made, presented, and packed nicely it was just as she described it in the detailed quote she sent. She said she made the fondant and everything was edible. The day of the party I had took them out around the time frame she had told me to. But they were sitting out alittle longer before my guest started to come in and try. But everything was still intact. They were just as delicious as the first time I tried them. And I was so surprised how soft and great tasting the fondant star and moon was. Normally I don't care for the taste of fondant but her fondant was good. Wish I had ordered more so everyone could have had the opportunity to try. Because once people started to take them they all disappeared like hotcakes. But those who had the opportunity to try just loved it and was raving about how delicious they were. Some asked about her contact info and I happily shared her IG. Overall I had an amazing experience. Tay was so kind, with a great personality and she's easy to talk to. Her prices are reasonable and her cakes are to die for! Highly recommend and I can't wait to order from her again! Thank you again Tay!

ABSOLUTELY ADORE! I went to a Yelp event & Sweet Cakes were catering. This was my first time ever trying, and the flavors were sweet (not too sweet), creamy, and balanced. Tay clearly knows what she is doing. She offers multiple services and is available Wednesday through Sunday.

I ordered a custom birthday cake and Chauntay accommodated our special request! The cake was very delicious and rich! I loved the cute and neat design. Everyone at the party loved the cake inside out!We will be back for more cake in the future. I highly recommend this place :)

Went to a Yelp event tonight and got samples from here. The cupcakes were amazing. I should have took the owner up on taking some extras. Owner was so friendly and I can't wait to go to this actual bakery to get some full sized yums.

The cake was perfect! We got a two tiered cake and smash cake for my sons birthday. We told them the theme and they nailed it. The cake was delicious and beautiful!!

This place served up some delicious mini cupcakes! I had the cinnamon toast crunch as well as the strawberry and they were delicious. I look forward to trying all the flavors. Also, the owners were incredibly friendly.

To this day, my husband still talks about this cake. Says it was probably if not the best, then one of the best he's ever had... ever. Any my husband had had a lot of cake (haha) Tay made a cake for my son's first birthday party.. I sent her inspo with specific details of color and how I envisioned it, and she communicated well and promptly. To say she did good is an understatement. She crushed it. Every last detail. Sometimes cakes that look pretty don't taste the best, but that was absolutely not the case with Tay's cake! Visually appealing and just all the rave at the party. Everyone loved it!

Chauntay made my daughter's lamb dreams come true with her sweet baa baa cake! It was adorable and delicious! We got the strawberry with buttercream frosting and it was amazing! Everyone was asking where we got it from! Communication was excellent and super professional. I highly recommend you give Chauntay a call!

What an amazing experience I had working with Sweet Cakes by Tay from beginning to end. The whole process was very smooth and the end result was spectacular! She made a specialty cake for my son's graduation from pharmacy school along with various cupcakes and they turned out better than I could have imagined. The cake became the centerpiece of the event and I received SO many compliments! The cake was moist and the buttercream frosting was very good and not overly sweet. The order was completed earlier than expected and like others mentioned, she gave detailed instructions on how to store them and when to take them out to serve. Very helpful information. She is very talented and does amazing work. I'm so happy I found her and I would 100% recommend her and use her again for my future events. Thank you for helping to make my son's celebration a success!
