Suzey Belen's Authentic Mexican Restaurant

If you are in the area this is some of the nicest and freshest Mexican food around. Portions are huge. Chips and salsa are fresh and tasty. Great flavors. Service is exceptional!

What ever you chose off the menu, you will not be disappointed. They are the best Mexican food restaurant in Oackdale by far and my family is eaten at all of them only to return to Suzey Belens. So don't waste your time as we did bring the others and give your tastes buds a treat at Suzey Belens. The service is second to none and the atmosphere is very family friendly. Thank you very much Suzey Belens.

I met a friend here recently for lunch. She lives in a nearby town and had not yet dined here. Service was good, our server brought the warm delicious chips, salsa and bean dip and waters while we decided on our meal. My friend opted for a cheese and chicken quesadilla and I ordered my standard carne asada burrito bowl but without rice and beans. We began to catch up on life and before long our lunch was served. The quesadilla was just what she wanted, very good. My burrito bowl was delicious as always, but this time the rice and beans were added. To be clear, the burrito bowl is delicious with or without the beans and rice. However, I typically eat very low carb. No worries, when I discovered this I was able to navigate it okay. Disaster averted! I was delighted to introduce a new person to the deliciousness to be found at Suzy Belen's. I'm also glad they are open again some days for dinner service. Stop in whenever you are craving authentic Mexican cuisine.

Mexican comfort food! Great service, food was good too. I liked that they lightly dressed the lettuce on the tacos, it gave them a unique taste. Will stop again if I'm in the area.

Yeah! Found a new go to for Mexican food. We recently moved to Modesto and checking out restaurants to try. This is a keeper. I ordered the crispy chicken taco, hubby had the 2 item combo plate with crispy beef taco and chicken enchilada. Ordered a small guacamole very fresh and delicious. They give you a basket of chips and the chips are made from flour and corn tortillas also also give you a delicious salsa and bean dip. YummmmmNicely decorated and very clean restaurant. The staff is friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back. It's worth the little drive from home. Oakdale is a darling town. Thank you

First Suzey was one of the cooks that El Ranchito restaurant. So that says a lot right there. Also, the food is delicious. The place is spacious enough for you to enjoy a nice meal and not be too close to any person. And the food, the food is delicious, absolutely, fantastic, mouth watering delicious. Griselda and Suzey are the perfect hostess' Yum!

Tried Suzey Belen the other day on our way to Modesto. The service was great, which is a pet peeve of mine. The was really good and very nicely presented. They have flour chips in the basket with corn ones for the salsa . Big bonus . The restaurant is very clean. All and all a great place to eat.. One piece of advice lol. I ordered the regular taco salad and it was huge. If that your choice, order the small one. You will thank me later

I must say the food and service have been better in the past, however this time my husband popped in after work only to get Chips, Salsa, and Guacamole in which we recently had for alot less in price but this time they must have taken advantage of his tiredness and charged him $22 for sides, which Chips and Salsa are usually free at the table. Seriously $22 for that, pic attached, Estas loca!

Wasn't the best service when it came to a complaint. The man was possibly the manager or owner that I spoke to. The fajitas had the iron taste of the skillet and I explained that it was not enjoyable. I had by this time ate most of it so he was not in favor of replacing it with a different item. For me the issue was his attitude. He didn't apologize and instead made it about him. He said in all my years in the restaurant business this has never happened. Well in my opinion there is always a first for everything. Then he abruptly walked away. Sometimes restaurants like this one feel like they could lose clients and no big deal. They need to understand that having good food is not the only thing that makes a restaurant successful. Without the people they wouldn't be around.

Chips, salsa and bean dip were great, as was my chili colorado burrito with rice and beans. Service was just okay, but I'd come back for the food. The place got pretty busy for lunch. Would definitely eat here again if in the area.
