Sunset Patios

Met with Jay and he was friendly and all. The quote was reasonable but when it came time to sign the final contract he added plugs and fan install which with my understanding was part of the original quote. I decided that ok maybe I misunderstood. I told him that I wanted the plugs on the switch with the fans. After the job was done, I checked and they were not the way we had discussed. After figuring out that the plugs were not on the switch and asking them to fix it Jay said it must have been a misunderstanding, imagine that. He then proceeded to tell me that it would cost me to fix it.Reasonable price, but really rude when it comes to customer service.

Jay and his employees made having our patio awning built such a great experience. Jay came to our home, gave an estimate and was straight to the point. He was honest, personable and helpful. Never did we feel that he was trying to up-sell us or charge a ridiculous amount of money. He always kept communication open and answered any questions we had. Today we had our patio awning built and could not be more satisfied with the job they did. The crew included three people who worked diligently and made our patio awning a reality! They also picked up all the extra debris when they were finished and blew the patio completely clean. We look forward to enjoying it this summer. Keep up the great work Jay. Terrible service. We've been notifying them for the last year that the patio they installed has been leaking. Very unresponsive and the only response we got from him is "I'll see you in court." Do not recommend

They did a great job , I didn't have the fans or lights for them to install , but they came back free of charge and installed them, great prices and quality work.

After several bids from local patio installers I contacted Jay from Sunset Patio and Awnings. We discussed my ideas and vision and he introduced to his offerings that included a premium material from Four Seasons, their Ultra line with heavier material wall thickness, deeper embossing and a special exterior coating and his pricing was lower than his competitors. Jay even offered additional design ideas that did not effect cost but greatly enhanced the overall appearance. I signed a contract and an install date was selected. His installers were prompt, organized and their attention to detail was spot on!. Despite 103 degree Fresno days they worked diligently toward the completion. I can't say enough positive things abut Jay and his team. I highly recommend you consider having Sunset Patio and Awning quote your next project. High 5 to Jay and his team.

We absolutely LOVE our new patio!!!!! The men put it up in 6 hours and we just love the way it looks!! If will be so nice to have such a professional patio up and have already gotten compliments from the neighbors!!

The patio looks great and the crew was good, but there are some imperfections...when they finished the installation of the patio they did not place the roof tiles back correctly, there are gaps which can lead to water damage. Also the metal water slide that directs water flow in the roof is banged up and sloppy and so is the silicone/spackel that adheres the water slide to the fascia. When I called Jay was gruff with me, when my husband called he was good, and when my son called he was defensive and didn't want to fix the problem because "it hadn't rained and there was no damage". Yes, we've had to call several times. Emails and texts weren't answered. The last thing we were told is that it would get fixed when they had another job in our area, we are in Visalia.

Terrible customer service patio cover leaks.

This is the second time that I used Jay and his team to do a patio for my family and i. I was very happy with the work his guys did on the patio it came out beautiful and his price was less than the competition so I was happy with that . He was very knowledgeable on helping me with the design that made the yard very enjoyable. Yes I would recommend sunset to any one looking for aluminium patio structures.
