Sunalp Laser Vision

I drove 3 1/2 hours from Long Beach California to come get my LASIK done by Dr Sunalp . After a long early morning I was pleasantly welcome by his abundant staff . Everyone was very warm and welcoming. They all knew my long drive and made me feel comfortable right away . His office and facility was clean and filled with tons of eye exam machines. I was really impress with how smooth everything went and how his customer were all taking care of. Everyone seemed to received the same level of care and comfort . So it was finally time for my LASIK . I was getting little nervous and excited at the same time . They have a relaxing room that was very zen and smoothing to be in. The procedure it self was under 5 minutes at most . We spend more time making me feel comfortable and relax. I hope if your reading this , you will make the jump and receive the same experience that I had. It's only been about 8 hours and already I am seeing fantastic. Thank you Chris ,Dr Sunalp and staff for my look towards the rest of my life ...

If zero stars was an option, I would have left zero. I bring a visually impaired friend here for appointments. Every time we arrive on time, and have to wait several hours. Today, the appoint was at 8:45am, it's now after 1pm and she still hasn't been seen. What is the point of making an appointment if they aren't going to keep them? It's incredibly inconsiderate and frustrating.

We were referred by a friend two years ago in regards to cataracts for both myself and husband. This whole office staff and Dr Sunalp have almost become family to us. My husband had cataract surgery and multi focal lens implants (hopefully this is the correct term) two years ago and I had cataract surgery this past month. We are so fortunate to have this team close enough for driving purposes ( 35 miles ) with appointments. Thank you Chris, Jessica, Ephraim and Doctor for your great care and expertise! PS, thank you for laughing at my husbands jokes!

I swear I'm highly WARNING you Do Not waste your time going to these clowns....Dont know how they are still in business or no one has complained to the state...been there twice not for me but to take my parents years apart and both have I experienced the 2 drs rude wat dr snaps their fingers to patients or anyone for that matter like if they were animals...I had to say something that they needed to go back to school and get educated...I got my parents walked the hell out and scheduled them somewhere else....so I would think twice before going to these clowns...

My eyes troubled me for many years. Dr after dr after dr. Not one could get it right. Thankfully someone recommended me to dr. Sunalp; his knowledge surpassed all others. He has helped my poor vision, eye discomfort and other complications to be a thing of the past. He is caring , professional and knowledgeable.

I would give no stars. Very unprofessional place. Rude staff and rude doctor. He lasered over my fine vision and i didnt know that until i went to a different opthamologist. Now my right eye has no vision. If i would have known at the time what to do i would have sued him. This was about 5 years ago.

Eyes..We only have 2. And we need 'em both.Can we trust them to just any one? I don't think so.I had an eyelid lift done by Dr. Sunalp and I'm thrilled with the results. Dr Sunalp has the best education a physician can get. Oxford. Stanford. USC. UCLA. It doesn't get better than this. Besides eye surgery, he does 'touch ups' and 'tweakage' (as I like to call them) as well.He has the latest and most impressive medical equipment and a nice and caring staff.My friend had some MAJOR work done on her eyes - cataract, lens transplant, the works. She was thrilled with the results and the care she got and when I say 'how many fingers am I holding up?" she gives the correct count!

Ill never go there again to them its all about getting the most money out of you. The staff is decent and talks more about gossip (cheating on their partners with a Dr. named chris and walks with a limp) this is a conversation they had right in front of me btw and that dude chris tried to charge me $5000 per eye and when i refused it suddenly dropped to $2700 im sure they work under the table. Dont take my word alone for it though just check their reviews on all platforms. Just dont go there and find a better place even if you have to drive a little more its for the sake of your own eyes.

If I could give zero stars I would! I was referred here by my primary care physician because of a scratched cornea. I arrived 15 minutes early to my appointment and was there for over THREE HOURS! When I first arrived there were three people already there who got called up before me, as they should. However, after that I watched a total of 14 people who got there after me go in before me!I waited a little over TWO HOURS before I went to the front and asked about my place in line because I needed to get back to work the receptionist assured me I was next, however, not even two minutes after asking, someone else from the other side of the room approached for similar reasons and was told the same thing. When I finally got called back into a room I had to wait there unattended for another 15 min before finally getting some photos of my eye taken. They then led me into another waiting room where I waited another 15 min to get other tests ran before returning me to the second waiting room. I was left there by myself for another 20 min before they led me to a small room and said the doctor would be in shortly. I then waited another 20 minutes before going back up to the front desk and asking if they forgot about me. They did. I feel bad because by this point I was pretty irritated and asked the receptionist why they made appointments when they weren't going to honor hem but it wasn't her fault. If you took off work early thinking you would be gone an hour and a half tops to make it back round trip and it ended up taking 4.5 wouldn't you be upset though? They finally got the doctor to see me and he spent a total of maybe five minutes before prescribing me an eye drop and sending me on my merry way. Needless to say I will NOT be back! Oh, and on top of all of this there was shit on the bathroom floor as well. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment somewhere more time efficient and clean who actually care about their clients instead of the money they're going to bill their insurance!

Not baby friendly. They will make you get up from your seat to make you sit by the waiting room by the door.This was the second time here following up my moms eye surgery. First time they did not say thinking about my baby.
