Sullivan Center For Children

I love that place part of my childhood. I'm sad they shut down. This is mostly message to owner Kathy Sullivan or know as Dr. Kathy. She is my psychogist there. She help me and my grandparents. I went there because I wasn't talking and I deal alot after my parents broken up and trama after that. I love Kathy so much. I see her as best friend. I can tell her everything. Kathy loves pokemon (Eevee), kids, 100% loves cats. She loves to take care cats. I used to fear cats and thanks to her she made me not to and she very made me want have one my own. When my ex took advenage me when I was 13. She told me just tell the staff. In September 4th 2021 I started dating my boyfriend and I tell my psychogist about him a lot. In November 26, 2021 she passed away shocking. Her sister post take over the company, but they have to shut down and the cats sent to farm.

I am very appalled by the customer service this facility has. I called on Friday July 1st, 2016 and left a message, I called several times that day and no answer. My daughter received a referral to go to this facility. I finally got a hold of Linda July 7th, 2016 she informed me that Doctor Sullivan is not taking any new referrals. Linda asked about my daughter seeing someone else. I informed her that it would have been nice to know that because I have been waiting almost a week for her to be seen or get a call. I could have been looking for another counselor for her. I need to get my daughter in as soon as possible and these people think that what happened to my daughter is not important enough for me to get a call back!

I'm very frustrated as I have been trying to schedule an appointment here since December. I keep getting told that they will call me back to schedule. I've been told this 3 times now, and I'm still waiting. If this is how they conduct business, forget it. A month is too long to wait simply to schedule an appointment.

We go here, and have been for 3 years. It takes time to learn to change. You change, your kid changes, and the medication, helps your kid-learn to use his brain.

This establishment is the worst place to get any help. From their administration people like "Linda" are not helpful at all. They gave me the run around about just even getting an appoint using the excuse that my child could not get service until they would call my ex-husband and and he would have to give the ok. Then they said that it would have to be court mandated for her to even be seen????? Really, and forget about them calling you back it will take days and no one picks up the phone. Had to go their in person twice. What really made me suspicious was when I called for the 5th time an actually got a hold of some one and wanted an update on just for an appointment they quickly said if my daughter "does she need drugs" my response "oh deer God no" we just want Caunceling. They could of said does she need medication but the way it was suggested was very off putting. My advice to future people that need help do your research and find a better place. I honestly think this place is their to take money from the government and the people that are trying to seek help.

This place truly saved my life. I was heartbroken to hear that it closed, I feel like I received the best therapeutic care for a kid my age at the time. I had always had a good time a lot of my memories there are the fun times of playing games and with the cool toys they had especially with Dr.Lisa or Dr.Jason who always were so charismatic and kind to me especially when I was emotionally raw at times and felt horrible. I'm not sure if they will see this ever but if so, I just want to tell them thank you and that they kept me for so long from going off the edge. They also had really friendly cats which was amazing.

Even though it is gone now the people that worked here, especially the owner, Cathy Sullivan, are some of the most amazing people out there. Cathy helped me through some of the toughest times in my life, and know that she was an amazing, compassionate , selfless, inspiring, ambitious, human being. She meant the world to me and still does, I hope she is doing well wherever she is right now. The other staff that worked here are just like her, they are amazing too.

Awful. Terrible experience, never take your kids here. The therapists are manipulative, untrained, and awful.

I'm rating this solely on my interaction with the staff members. Some of the staff members are not very helpful, lack customer service skills and you can expect them to not return your call. This is very unfortunate because I was recommended by someone about the Sullivan Center in Fresno but most the psychologist are FULL and are not accepting any new clients.

This center is a disgrace to all families and kids. They don't give a crap about you, your kids, your family situation or your well being as as a family. All the staff are rude from the desk receptionists to the billing receptionist. The doctors are a joke and all about money! You will never be able to put your family back together going to this hell hole of a place! If you are going to pick a place to take your kids, family or loved ones to real doctordo not go here. You will be worst off than you started before you paid them all of your hard earned money. They are into playing games literally! Your kids will get nothing out of this center other than playing ping pong and pool while the doctors playing with them collect your money on a hourly basis. Can't believe they are in business! It seems this is the place where they hire doctors that can't get jobs as a real therapist in better suited situations. Stay away from this center unless you want no results, a high bill that will put you in debt, kids that don't respond to family situations after treatment and a hole in your family! What doctors talk to the kids for 2 seconds and play games the rest of the hour on your dollar? The sullivan center of course! Try calling them to see, you will find out from the first phone call that they are a joke and rude. I have nothing but very bad thing to say about this center! Stay away or you will regret it for the rest of your life!
