It was my first time getting a cut from Misty, I got a curly cut and let's just say I love it! She did exactly what I asked for curtain bangs, with a lil shag. She's very welcoming and makes you feel comfortable. She is a very talented woman! Thanks Misty for the dope cut!

I didn't post the day I got it done, but Misty is a color genius. Took me from a grown out faded pink/purple mess, to a stunning green goddess.She made sure to process my hair as gently as she could to keep it healthy, but also to get me the vibrant color I was looking for. My hair is still sooooooo healthy.This process is neither cheap, nor quick, however since all my hair is still in my head, AND my curls are still intact, it was worth all the time and money. 10/10 Misty rocked my hair expectations and goals, yet again.

I have been a client of Misty's for 5 years now, since I was 16. I am now 21 and I can say that she has always done amazing hair every time for me throughout the years of my style and personality changing. She's always been there to help me feel my best and my most confident self. She's always down to do any fun and creative ideas I have, while she also always has creative ideas for me too. Misty is such a great colorist and nails it every time. When I first started going to her I got a lot of rose gold colors and balayages since that was in at the time, and it was beautiful each time. Now I get plenty of fashion colors and I absolutely love it! From pinks, purples, and rainbow she's always made my colorful dreams come true :). She did my hair for my prom and hopefully she will for my wedding in the future too! I trust her every single time and I always know every time I walk into her studio that it's gonna be a good day and that I'm going to feel amazing for weeks after! A big plus is that she is very accommodating, comforting, understanding, and a LGBTQ ally. Also the chair and shampoo bowl is the comfiest I've ever been in! Definitely check her out for any type of color, hair cut, or service for curly hair :)

Misty has been my hair stylist through 3 jobs and has always made my hair presentable for anything and everything -- the great responses I receive about my haircut from my co workers and friends always makes getting hair care services through Misty something to look forward to! She has the uncanny ability to know your hair and adapt to anything you request. I have always admired Misty's ability to know my own hair even better than I do.I also admire the environment and atmosphere Misty provides. Her salon is a zone where you can be you and relax as much as you want or express yourself as much as you want. Before having Misty as my stylist for years, haircuts have always felt like an awkward or impersonal experience, but Misty as a person brings out the best of the experience and before you know it you'll be booking again.Also, you will always best the best shampoo bowl treatment, so if anything, you will get a guaranteed destress out of any mental mess.

Misty has magical hands! I didn't know what a difference a good haircut would make! I wake up with so much confidence and my hair looks so good! My curls are happy and thriving! Thank you so much! I am not a person to write reviews on Yelp because I am believer of word of mouth. I only write reviews on extreme negative situations or extreme positive experiences. I first met Misty about 4 years ago when I did a search of "curly hair stylist" on Yelp. Very limited options came up on Yelp but Misty had one review with curly hair that capture my attention. As my curly hair peeps, curly hair types is so diverse. I am Central American with a lot of mix in ancestry so finding a hair stylist in the Central Valley had been a challenge. On my first appt with Misty, I walked feeling confident with my curly hair!!! The cut, the style was what I was looking for so many years!!! Of course, as a curly hair victim of bad hair cuts, I was skeptical how the second appt would be...well here I am going 5 years strong with Misty. She has restore my curls on another level likes others have mentioned and the cut has never disappointed. I now LOVE wearing my curly and the compliments I get now since she took over keep coming! But I write this review because in January, I went to Misty thinking my last haircut might of been a bit botchy but she reminded me my hair was growing back after loosing so much of it when I had my baby last year. She was so kind and did therapy on my hair and viola!! She made it happened!! She made my postpartum hair look good and made me confident again!!!! I was able to take family pictures with curly hair and feeling confident! Misty has no idea how that made me feel and this is why I wrote this review. Every curly hair girl needs to go. For selfish reasons I was hesitant to write this review because I want to keep my secret to myself BUT I know the struggle with my fellow curly hair peeps so I will share this awesome curly hair therapist!!! In the picture, can you see all the ugly short, stringy, thinning postpartum hair!?! Negative! And this is why I know I have the best CURLY HAIR STYLIST!
