Where do I even start?! Emily is the absolute BEST! Her hands are magic. She truly takes time to perfect her craft & bring what you envision for your hair to life. Every time I've sat in her chair my expectations for my hair have been surpassed. She takes time to fully communicate with you that she understands what you do/don't want. She's very open & honest to if she can achieve your hair goal based off of your hair history & if it would require multiple sessions or not. Because above all not only is Ensuring that you love the outcome of your hair Emily's number one priority but also your hair health! She loves challenges & new ideas that make her excel in her craft, unlike other stylist that I had contacted mentioning to me that my desired color wouldn't be able to be achieved. She's simply the best! I recommend EVERYONE I know to her. It's one woman behind the Screen/Chair/Image in charge of running Studio M lounge so I understand when a response is not immediate. It's always been 110% worth it! I leave with my hair looking better than the last time I sat in her chair. Compliments come left & right. She properly educated me in the after care of my hair & to maintain my color being a jet black brunette to an Icy blonde. If you're looking to be taken care of, Emily is the way to go!!! Very highly recommend coming here to get your hair done by Emily! She's so professional and definitely has experience. I couldn't make up my mind about the color I wanted to go with in my hair and she went through all my reference pictures. She was so patient and listened to everything I was trying explain. She was very knowledgeable with her colors and her products and it showed with how she did my hair! I'll definitely be coming back here to have her work on my hair! I can honestly say this is the first time I love my hair after getting it done!

I've been going to Emily since 2017 and she has never let me down! I've loved every hair session we've had. Her craft is like no other! I leave every time feeling so much more confident! 10/10 recommend! Also she always has great music playing so the ambiance is definitely there

Emily literally fixed my hair. After a bad hair cut I booked with Emily and she did wonders ! Was very informative on what she was doing and recommended me some bomb products. Left with a nice layered cut and hair feeling super soft and silky. 10/10 !

Emily is great hairdresser and talented. Unfortunately on my second attempt to book her I had a very bad experience from constantly canceling scheduled appointments I finally tried a last time and she was a no show. I texted her I was there and she didn't reply until the next day. As valuable as her time is so is mine as a client. Emily was very unprofessional. On top of that I simply asked for my deposit back and got it back a month later after having to reach out to her more than once asking for my deposit.

I promise I'm not a Karen. I was actually debating saying anything at all, but I think it's fair for other people to be aware of the way this business is ran. The talent and skills Emily has is something that I can't deny, however clients time is not respected. After scheduling myself weeks ahead, MULTIPLE appointments would be rescheduled the day of with comments like "Sorry girl I'm out of town and won't make it back in" even after I set my whole day aside to make it to the trim. Most recently I've been trying to get in since March 2023 & I finally got a date for July 6th. I drove 1 hour and showed up just for her to say "perla didnt add you to the schedule " I've been going to her before Perla was in charge of scheduling and the irresponsibility has always been an issue. I was never late to my appointments (when I finally got it) I always tipped, and I always paid full haircut price for a simple trim, yet my time was never respected. When a hairstylist requires people to respect their time and even requires a deposit, they lose the credibility and respect when they don't value their clients time. Lost a loyal customer & I'm sure many more have experienced this. If you want to wait weeks just for your appointment to be cancelled, go here!

I used to go to Emily for many many years. I was a loyal client of hers and always tipped her. Skill wise she's great at her job. I have always loved the way my hair turned out. However, as a business owner, I do not recommend. Almost always when I scheduled, I was either cancelled or rescheduled with no explanation. And I always booked out in advance so it was very frustrating. I tried to give multiple chances but in the end the last time I was cancelled and I wasn't accommodated at all, I ended up finding a new hair stylist all together. Hair stylists expect us to respect their time but the same goes for clients and I wished my time was also respected. I used to think it was just me but after talking to other clients of hers it was a common occurrence among a lot of her other clients

The owner/hairstylist, Emily is very unprofessional she will have you come from other cities just to not be there on time. She will reschedule you last minute and once you're outside waiting , she'll tell you she's gonna be like an hour late once you're outside in the parking lot. And still has attitude telling you don't have to show up as if you havent been waiting outside . As a customer, I think she's inconsistent and unprofessional.
