Sticks Coffee

I was in Mariposa for a work meeting and stopped by this location to fuel up on caffeine before my meeting. Located on a hill to the east of the main road, and connected to a hotel, this place isn't the easiest to find. It does have parking on the street that is marked as 'for hotel guests only.' Since the cafe is connected to the hotel, does that mean you can park there? Regardless, I played it safe and parked down the hill a bit in unmarked spaces. The cafe has a few options for indoor seating--some cozy bench seats along a window and other more private two seater options. The decor was autumnal with pumpkins and a few lush indoor plants. They have coffee beans and other items for sale, and have a few food items you can select to go with your coffee. I ended up asking for a double cappuccino to go, which came in what looks like an 8 oz cup, and I also ordered their avocado toast (on sourdough) with an egg (nicely sliced and fanned across the bread) and everything seasoning.The cappuccino came with some lovely foam art, and was perfectly balanced...with double shots-it was just as strong as I prefer. The avocado toast was hearty and a good value for what you got. The bread was a bit soggy--If I come again, I'll ask them to burn the toast (how I do it at home) or make it extra crispy. The avocado spread had a nice gentle tangy flavor--not too much--the egg was not over cooked, and the seasoning was just right.I had an enjoyable conversation with the staff members who were there, and did not have to wait too long for my food. I hear I just missed the morning rush though... If I'm in town again, this is definitely a place I'd stop by again. It is always nice to find local shops to support--and this one definitely has earned their favorable reputation!

Good breakfast and good coffee. They don't jedne mamy options to choose from for breakfast but you can still find something. Full espresso machine, so the coffee is good and they have dairy free milk. Avocado toast can be made vegan. Breakfast Sammy was very good. It's a small cafe, so they don't have many sitting options, the lines could be a little long so you may have issues with having a place to sit.

Love this coffee spot. Everything is quality they even use a traditional wood whisk for matcha. They have food and pastries and GF which we appreciate. Very progressive and inclusive ... love the local art for sale. Indoor and outdoor seating. Just a must stop Everytime we come to mariposa .

What a cute little coffee shop here in Mariposa! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the homey decor and the great service behind the counter. Very charismatic barista taking our order and helping us thru the menu + offering recommendations. As a group we ordered the Happy Camper (which is pretty much a smores latte) and i got the crocus latte. All were sooo yummy and exactly as they were described. Love how the Happy Camper came with graham cracker crumble and roasted marshmallows. The sourdough croissant was also so delicious. As sourdough lovers, this was right up our alley. Never had it before so it was a pleasant surprise. Could be eaten with both sweet of savory spreads.Definitely make a stop by here if you find urself in the area!

Sticks Coffee is a cute cafe that was bustling with people when my husband and I stopped by on a Saturday morning. There was a bit of a line when we walked in, but the line moved fast and we had ordered in no time. We ordered the vanilla lattes, in size small and large. The lady taking orders at the counter and the man making the coffees were both super friendly. The drinks were priced fairly and delicious! We both enjoyed our drinks and it was so nice sitting outside to enjoy the nice weather for a little bit. They do sell food too, which we didn't get the chance to try this time around but would maybe be interested the next time we're in town. Lots of people were picking up their food orders, so it looked intriguing!

On the way to Yosemite Park, there's this cozy coffee joint that's just perfect for a pit stop. The coffee is seriously good, like the kind that wakes you up and puts a smile on your face. And the inside? It's like stepping into a Pinterest board - all cute and clean with comfy seats and nice decor.But what really makes this place stand out is the people. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming, it's like they're genuinely happy to see you. They'll chat with you like you're an old friend and make you feel right at home.So, next time you're on the road to Yosemite and in need of a caffeine boost, swing by this coffee spot. Trust me, it's worth it for the great coffee, cozy atmosphere, and friendly vibes.

This coffee shop is so cute and tasty! I was visiting Mariposa for a few days as I was in town for work. I read some of the reviews and decided to stop it. This shop won't disappoint and the happy camper was delicious!!

My husband and I came here about a year ago with a friend who grew up in Mariposa. She spoke very highly of this place, and wish reason. Overall, cute little coffee shop with tasty offerings and a chill vibe. Will come back again when I'm in the area. Food 5/5 - I tried a fennel and fig scone, and later on a DELICIOUS sandwich on freshly made focaccia bread (I don't remember the name). Both food were absolutely tasty and fresh. Service 5/5 - great, friendly service Ambiance 5/5 - very nice area, you could sit indoors or outdoors and enjoy the view.

This place is ! I live in a big city and wasn't expecting to find such quality coffee in a teeny mountain town, but the drinks and the food are truly exceptional, as was the service. Regardless the service, I was super tired walking in, and accidentally ordered two large Sticks lattes when I meant to order the Happy Campers. The server saw the look on my face and immediately offered to redo the drinks, even though it was 100% my fault. It felt like the sort of kindness that changes the course of your day! Also, the marshmallows were perfectly charred and the coffee was smooth and just the right amount of sweet. So good! I'm totally a happy camper now!

Nice little place on the way to Yosemite.Ordered the Breakfast Sammie. Was actually quite surprised with the quality. Also ordered an iced coffee on a hot day before a long hike at Yosemite.Great service and plenty of parking.
