Formerly known as the Bedroom... good music... longs lines... college kids... closes early way too often...

Coming from a professional touring LIghting Designer, I must say that this is one of the worst venues in the country. It is a glorified School cafeteria, they know nothing about their power (even damaging some of our equipment because of their ignorance), the sound is extremely awful (but I will add the hired in sound technician is extremely professional and gracious despite the issues the room provides). The "owner" is a middle aged pervert who, when asked to clear the backstage area of his 20-something playthings for safety purposes chose to instead curse our our opening band and several crew members, including our tour manager. EXTREMELY BAD ATTITUDES ALL AROUND, and IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING ROUTING YOUR BANDS HERE, I URGE YOU NOT TO. Also, we were told we would have multiple loaders to bring in our gear up a steep staircase (some of our cases weighing 350+ pounds), instead they chose to "hire" 3 volunteers, 2 which were photographers and 1 who was a fan...not helpful at all and we ended up putting ourselves at great risk bringing our equipment up. Extremely disappointing experience and I hope to never come here again.

this place is a shit show so unorganized so unsafe security sucks might as well save the money from security and use it on the ac it was hotter in the building then out side. had to leave before fights started to brake out! waist of money and time!! it sucks cuz louie is a good singer paid for him and didn't even get to see him sing live! never again will I attend anything at this place!!

This place is TERRIBLE! My friends rented this venue for their daughter's Quinceñera, and the AC suddenly went out the day before. They were notified the morning of, and with no time to make any changes, they had to have it here on 08/24/2019. They were told the AC was out and there was nothing they could do about it. It is so disgustingly hot in here that we can't even stand to sit here, much less dance and enjoy this milestone. They brought out fans but that hasn't even helped. My friends were told they would not be receiving any discount or refunds and I'm absolutely appalled! Guests are just trying to make the best of it, but we are seriously melting in this place! I will definitely be posting a follow up as to what Star Palace is going to do to right this wrong.

A TERRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL VENUE!!!!! Anyone in need of a hall please think twice before reserving this location!! My family attended an event here this weekend (5/24/19) to celebrate a quince with friends and family. The venue's air conditioning broke and the family was not informed until they arrived. Unable to change the location of an event this large they had no option but to try and accommodate their guests. Fans were brought in, but in this Fresno weather that did very little. The family made the best of the situation, but should not of had to apologize to their guest for the lack of professionalism of this venue. Their vendors were uncomfortable throughout the night, their cake was delivered and started to melt shortly after, their dessert table shared the same fate. The guests started to leave hours earlier than expected due to the heat and vendors where paid for the whole evening!!! For the price the family paid for the hall there should have been some sense of urgency and compassion for what the family had to deal with!!! I praise the family for their patience and composure during the night!!! I hope that the venue has enough sense to make things right!!! My husband and I plan large events for private parties and corporations throughout the year and will definitely share our experience at this venue with our current and future clients!!! I gave 1 star only because I was forced too. Get it together Star Palace!!!
