If you need acupuncture or other related services, this is the place to go. Doctor Kwak is very knowledgeable and very helpful. I have terrible pain from several autoimmune diseases, and he has helped decrease my pain significantly. The treatment rooms are very clean. Also, his receptionist is the best, Susie's very caring and welcoming. I highly recommend this practice!

So far, so good! The hubby has suffered with foot neuropathy the past few years and has found no relief via his doctors. He's not diabetic, but takes Metformin due to the foot pain. Anyway, after he was told at a recent doctor visit that there was nothing they could do, he decided to give acupuncture a try. He called for an appointment and he was able to get into Star Acupuncture the following morning. Dr Kwak was very thorough with him and the first appointment was just over two hours. My hubby was told that his was the worst case of foot pain Dr Kwak had ever encountered. Sure hope this does the trick!

I went two times and they did not answer my questions. I wanted more services and Chinese herbs but I guess they are not for everyone?? They also would not allow me to sit in certain chairs like I was not important enough. I came with plenty of money but I suppose they judged me because I'm not the right color skin or race. I feel discriminated! I will never go back!! I will contact my insurance because they are not good providers!!

Not good with apt setting. They use phones for apt. Probably why my apt was not on the books, no book...

My mother has a very rare autoimmune disease that causes her excruciating sciatic nerve pain when she has her flare ups. This past week I've taken her to the emergency room who gave her a pain shot and sent her home with recommendations for over the counter pain medication and no relief. When I say excruciating pain I mean to the point where she can't eat or sleep and becomes so restless. Took her to urgent care and they gave her stronger pain medication and still no help. We walked into Dr Kwak's office and my mom was barely able to get up or move around without pain. Dr. Kwak's office provides a great initial interaction, customer service experience and ongoing communication. I've struggled with maintaining a digestive system that is chronically regular for years. I finally reached a breakthrough with a product called Zupoo, but wanted to build on that success with something very different in the way of traditional eastern medicine. Dr. Kwak provided some information and insight that I've never heard before, then based on my answers to his questions he made an herbal mixture unique to my body while I waited. I received about 20 pouches with instructions to take 1 pouch 3x per day, not as a tea but through ingesting with water. I followed his instructions. These herbs were so powerful that I could not take as recommended. I had to reduce the amount to only 1 per day at night before going to bed, and even then I could only do it for 4 consecutive days before I needed to take a 1-2 week break. These herbs were so powerful and cleansing that I feel like they cleaned out my consciousness. I was just in a very lucid state of mind where so many things were connecting and making sense. It's hard to explain. Anyway I finished all of the pouches, did a parasite cleanse and added more fruit to my diet. Chronic regularity achieved plus some other benefits and outcomes I'm probably not even aware of.

I had an accident a year ago, I was with physical therapists for more than six months and they did not help me at all with my neck and back pain.
