It was great. The staff was really professional, nice, and accommodating. I went in to schedule an appointment and Courtney immediately got me in for an appointment. She made the experience smooth with her recommendations and experience. I would highly recommend Stanton Optical here in Porterville.

Went to pick up glasses around 12:30pm; it didn't seem like anyone was at front desk. Finally saw someone, and asked for assistance, but they snapped and said "I can't, I am very busy, I am the only one here. All they should have said was "I am sorry, I am the only one in office currently and I am busy working with someone." Not going back ever again. Terrible customer service.

I went in today and the guy who was working (possibly the manager) immediately greeted me with a smile. He replaced a screw in my sunglasses and cleaned them before handing them back to me. Store was super nice. I will definitely be back for my next contacts order.

Went to Staton for new glasses and received service from Bri that nwas beyond exceptional. She was not only helpful and knowledgeable but was very friendly and socialable. It was a pleasure to deal with such a happy employee especially late in the day. Thank you Bri

I came across Stanton Optical while seeking an urgent Optometrist appt, they were very responsive and attentive to scheduling me immediately. During my visit the entire staff was very welcoming and resourceful. They were able to get me taken care of and have my prescription lenses ready within a hour. Totally recommend this place!

Giving 2 stars because the two girls who did the exam were sweet as can be and extremely patient. They get 5 stars. 2nd year going to Stanton Optical and truly only due to the convenience and proximity to my work. But the business itself lacks quality. The Jiffy Lube of eye care I suppose. I didn't even get to see the Tele Optometrist to explain the changes in my vision. Only the nice receptionist girls who ran my eye exam. But the worst was the shark of a salesperson. Straight up lying to me about insurance coverage allowance, quantities on contacts and she did not once show me the options for contacts. She truly thought I would just hand over my debit card and accept whatever their choice was for me! And when I opted to just pay for my exam copay and take my prescription she snatched up my trial pair of contacts in a huff really first of all, if I was in a mood the trial contacts voucher does not require purchase- only exam. But I was tired and just wanted to get out of there. Worse than buying a car and bad practice considering all of the online companies who sell contacts and lenses for way cheaper. That's my story.

So today I went with my son Ethan to go get him a pair of glasses and two of the girls with fucked up lips ejection denied my disable son service due to his insurance we were there yesterday for my daughter and they were good to us because we didn't mention insurance because we paid out of pocket but for some reason today when I mentioned about my son insurance the two fat bitches started you act funny with me I felt like they discriminate towards me and my son because he has insurance (medical) and because he is disable they felt some type of way Me as a parent I would NOT recommend anyone to go there because they are very unprofessional and very disrespectful.... P.s we asked about the insurance as a question but we knew that we were gonna pay out of pocket it was just a question that we had ask...and they also refused to give there names even the store manager told them don't give out there names...
