Great food, service and portion sizes! Kids eat free on Tuesdays, so works out great for reduced price movie and dinner with the kids if your are in to that. My favorite is the sweet and sour chicken, my daughter loves the orange chicken. Definitely recommend!

The quality of food has gone down drastically. Kao Yu: bass fish was deep fried and so dry, sauce flavor was not the same as before, tasted weird. Upgrade side rice to chow mein, there was only noodle, nothing else, and the noodle was sweet. Sausage fried rice used to be really good, not this time, lukewarm, no flavor. Dry cooked green beans were good. We spent more than 140 dollars and have decided to not come back again.

We went here for lunch after not being here for quite some time. The hot and sour soup was spicy and excellent. It had a lot of different things in it and was delicious. We had beef that was really tender. I always determine what meats we want and then look for the best veggies to go with it to choose which dish we want. I always get the black rice because it is so different. It is a little sweet and woodsy. We had Grace as a server and she was very attentive. We need to remember to come here more often.

We're back again visiting one of our favorite restaurants in Fresno The Spicy J's As always Great Quality service and delicious food. The Bar is a plus with Happy Hour Vibes. Excellent location. The dedicated staff made us feel welcome always. Please check them out and you will enjoy everything they had to offer...

My husband and I came on a Friday night around 530. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress Grace was very attentive. We ordered the appetizer seafood shumai. I would say this it's pretty mediocre. It wasn't so flavorful. I wouldn't order this again, however I did appreciate it came with dipping sauce. The imperial lamb was juicy and did have a good kick. This came with a hot and sour soup and a side of rice. If you like spice, this is the item to try.All in all, not a place i would go out of my way to go to-- the food flavors seem to be inconsistent. But the drinks we ordered were tasty and the ambiance was good.

Our family needed a break from tamales and Pozole and Spicy Js offered just the right culinary respite! We scored on the $20 off $100 gift card holiday promotion and were able to apply to our take out order (gift card must be purchased in person to receive $20 off but order can be placed over the phone ). Order was completed quickly and surprisingly fresh given the speed. Service was friendly over the phone and in person. All dishes were tasty and chicken in every dish was juicy. (see receipt pic for list of dishes ordered). We look forward to our next order!

This spot has been recommended to me a few times. I was finally in the area and decided to pop in for lunch. The first thing I noticed is the massive outdoor patio overlooking a grassy courtyard area. This patio has TVs and heaters for those chilly fall and winter days. I sat inside and ordered the mixed veggie tofu off the lunch menu, but subbed chicken and opted for the chow mein. This order also comes with cream cheese ragoons and the salad. All of that for $12! The chow mein was very good and I really loved the sauce on the chicken and veggies. The veggies were surprisingly still firm, which I love because nobody likes a soggy broccoli crown. The portions here are so huge that my wife was able to create an entire lunch for herself with my leftovers. I will be back to try their roasted duck dinner special!

We came for a weekend lunch, and unfortunately there is no lunch deals on the weekends but we were impressed with the quality of the food. My friend and I got the Woke Fired Shrimp and Hot and Spicy Tofu to share. Each entree came with a soup or salad, and a choice of rice or upgrade to fried rice, pan fried noodles, or chow mein. We asked for pan fried noodles on the side but we would recommend you order it on a entree with a lot of sauce since it was a little too chewy and hard to eat without any sauce. We asked for mild spice on both since we can't handle too spicy but honestly, I think regular spice level would have been good too; the mild wasn't spicy at all! I really liked the hot and sour soup - super flavorful and a nice amount of spice. The portions are pretty big, and we had leftovers enough for another meal. Each dish is a little on the pricey side though, especially with the upgrade. Each of our order turned to be ~$20-25. I would recommend coming on a weekday lunch for a better deal but overall the food was amazing!

We came back and brought the kids! They were very accommodating to us thankfully, as eating out with kids is no easy feat for us and we also had our massive stroller with us which I was embarrassed about. Food was good as expected. I cannot remember what we got, I think the usual favorite duck and some other dishes to round it out! All Chinese dishes tend to blend together for me because we do family style. The waiter was very kind and helpful and also sought our feedback on the fish dish as they had recently changed the type of fish they used which was much appreciated.
