The service was top tier ! We had queued up on a Saturday night and decided to go elsewhere as the line was quite long.We returned when they opened on a Sunday and waited less than half an hour before it was our thrn to order. We got a few lbs of brisket, a whole rack of ribs, the 41 baker with tri tip, the pit master and more.All the meats were tender, made very well and prices are not bad.This is easily the best bbq in ca ~ Come through for the great service and food for a short wait!

Sooooo good! We visited multiple times during a brief trip to Yosemite in August 2023, and even over a year later, we still rave and think about the food. The sandwiches were the highlight--Tri-Tip, Sasquatch, and Chopped Beef Brisket with great BBQ and white sauce. The meat was smoky and tender.When we went for dinner, the place was bustling. The pulled pork and beef brisket were great. The ribs were good but not as memorable as the sandwiches. Smokehouse 41 is a must-visit for BBQ lovers!

We ordered for take out and picked up around 6:30. It was packed in there. Small space, small amount of tables. We ordered tri tip as one of our meats but they only gave us brisket.... - Ribs 5/5FALL OFF THE BONE, JUICY, TENDER, WELL SEASONED. They don't slather it in the BBQ sauce which is very nice. - Brisket 5/5The pieces that had rendered fat was SUPER delicious. The ones that were thin and didn't have fat was ok. - Sausage 1.9/5Basic sausage, nothing special.- Beans 1.4/5Beans were suuuuper sweet. - Cole Slaw 5/5REALLY yummy Cole slaw. Kind of tastes like the KFC Cole slaw but less sweet.- Broccoli (extra $1) 5/5Really yummy, but they give so little for the upcharge!- Mac and cheese 1.6/5Basic, it was ok... Free parking in lot

If a Michelin star got tipsy on craft beer and fell in love with a smoker, this would be their baby. The Jalapeño Mac? Absolute fire creamy, spicy, and dangerously addictive. Sadly, they ran out of the bacon topping, which was like losing the last piece of chocolate on Valentine's Day tragic but survivable.Now let's talk pork: Next. Freaking. Level. Like it took a master class in flavor and graduated summa cum smoky. The tri-tip and brisket? Oh, honey. Those smoke rings were so perfect they should be on display at the MoMA, and the taste? Bold enough to make you question every other BBQ you've ever had.The craft beer selection keeps it classy, with 10 canned and 6 draft options--a perfect pairing for all the meaty goodness. The sausage? Good, not legendary, but solid enough to earn a nod of approval from Deadpool himself.Service? On point. Ambiance? Rustic, cozy, and soaked in smoky glory. This place is no joke down to the baked beans it's some incredible barbecue you will ever taste . We ordered the mammoth wow wow it had chicken sausage a rack of ribs the damn beans are to die for Cole slaw pickles with onions was incredible the rack of ribs were so good . It's a lot of food we had 4 people the amount of food will feed 6 hungry teenagers. I shit you not the best barbecue around if you are ever on oakhurst stop at 41 you won't be sorry thank me now

Brisket 4 of 5: Probably the best meat we got, but lacked a bit of flavor on the meat itself. Also, the portion was on 2 small pieces which was a big letdown for the price, so we had to or an extra portion since it's our favorite cut. Tri tip 3 of 5: lacked in flavor on the meat itself and was dry when we tried it. Kind of expected more since it was talked up so highly. Sausage 4 of 5: full of flavor, juicy, and worth adding to your plate. Brisket Mac and Cheese 5 of 5: if you like Mac and cheese this is good. The meat that lacks the flavor adds a good contrast to the cheese flavor and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Also, add pepper for extra contrast. Coleslaw: 3 of 5: light and refreshing addition to the plate of meat. However, on its own lacks taste and could use a bit more something to be a good side on its own. Loaded Baked Potato w/brisket: 5 of 5: not for the feint or heart or stomach. The Potato is big! If you want to finish it don't order much of anything else. The overall dish is delicious, and with all the additions provides a variety of welcome contrasts in flavor. Bbq Sauces 5 of 5: this does make up the flavor for the meats, however, I can't base the review on the sauces. Excellent flavor for both available sauces on the table. I do recommend this establishment, but it may not be for me. You order at the front and pick it up there. The workers at the front are nice and very informative.

Great place to stop for a bite on the way up to Yosemite. Inside is simple with a decent amount of seating. I got the Sasquatch sandwich. So good! Plenty of meat, goes great with the spicy bbq sauce on the table. Big portion. I got the jalapeno mac and cheese, it was just ok. Not a lot of jalapenos but the topped bacon was a nice addition. My friends got the 2 meat plate and 41 Baker and they liked both of them. Would definitely come back. Service was good. Friendly staff. Small parking lot in front but there's additional parking behind the building.

Man... I really hate to be this guy. I'm from South Carolina . I've roamed the south and have had all kinds of BBQ. It just hits different. I'm not gonna poop on this place because out here is probably seen as the best thing yet. It's not bad barbecue. It's just not what a southern nurse are used to..I had some brisket fries. It was well thought of.. it just needs more quality ingredients such as the fries. The fries taste like the freezer bag fries. The brisket 6.8/10. The brisket I'm used to eating is so tender until it's is almost a weird texture. Smokey, fall of the bone... etc. This brisket has nice flavor, but it's extremely tough. Now their sauces were good. Tried the tangy sweet sauce at the table, I think they nailed it. Chipotle aioli... nailed it.I will say though, I know how it is to mess up a brisket on a bad day so I would say I would try them again. I would also encourage anyone reading to try them. Keep in mind, my review has the bias of the south lol, BBQ is just different out thea!

I'm glad I checked this place out after visiting Yosemite. It's a top-tier bbq place in my opinion. I'm very picky when it comes to meat since I'm sensitive to textures and meat can sometimes be inedible to me. However, all the meats I tried here were juicy and tender. We got the pork ribs, tri-tip, and brisket. My favorite was the brisket, it was so tender and jiggly. Pork ribs were my next favorite, then the tri-tip which was still good!For the sides, my favorites were the potato casserole and the slaw. I was most excited for the Mac and Cheese and beans. However the Mac and Cheese was just good and not exceptional and the beans were a bit too sweet for my liking. Service was really slow. The line was outside to the end of the patio. But the food was worth the wait. There is only one person cutting the meats and ordering is like a school lunch line. To-go and Dine-In orders both need to stay in this same lineThere is a good amount of seating. But there are way too many aggressive flys in the outdoor seating area. We had to move inside to eat.

Food - omg the food here is AMAZING. The meat is all so flavorful and juicy and the baked beans were just delicious. Literally so so so good. Service - super fast service and the waiters were all very attentive! Ambiance - it's a cute spot but the only thing is that there are flies everywhere!!! It was kind of annoying having to swat every second so that they wouldn't touch the food but other than that it's a cute spot.
