Smash Bros Bistro

I was torn in my search for a premium burger as I had a craving that needed satisfaction. I decided on Smash Bros Bistro, as the reviews and pictures was an offer I couldn't refuse. Now on to the meat of the matter. Starting with the fries, these you can take to the bank as there golden deliciousness with the perfect sprinkling of salt. The burger was really good, the homemade dill pickles and sauce with the grilled onions and top shelf meat.... I am still drooling.The service was great. The owners were host and chef, definitely a local joint. Great atmosphere and vibes with that upscale bistro feel. Only four months old, so hop on before they blow up!

Had the double smash burger and fries. The burger is a straightforward - very good smash burger where they allow the simple ingredients to shine. Patty, meat, cheese, house made pickles, and sauce. Now if I have to be particular I would like them to add more sauce. Sauce acts as a binder to combine all these great ingredients. Also, fries portion were a bit small for $20. All in all, I would definitely recommend. I appreciate the smaller menu, shows although they do a few things, they do them well and right. I would like to come back and try the chicken sandwich. Service was great! All gentlemen were very friendly say hi and waving bye. Loved the oldie music as well.

I gave in today & decided to try a new spot not too far from the pad. I've heard good things about Smash Bros Bistro so I said "why not?" I've never had a smash burger before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Let me tell you, if I had to summarize everything into one word FLAVORFUL!! The burger was simple in appearance but big on taste!! Wow!! True to the "bistro" vibe, they offer shoestring fries with their burgers. Also great on taste, hot & crispy just like I like them. The offer you a side of catsup with your order, not being the conventional type, I choose the buffalo aioli as a dipping sauce for my fries and that did not disappoint either!! They serve Coke products which is an added plus for me!! #teamCoke The owner was very attentive and came out to the floor several times to check on the customers. He picked up my tray at the conclusion of my meal. Very personable and pleasant. This is one of those type of places where you want to spend your money and support. It's the small details at times that turns a good experience into a great one. Way to go fellas. You've won me over and will definitely come by more frequently now. Great ambiance. Clean restrooms. Came by on a Sunday and football was playing...it just got better and better. The music playing was diverse and pleasant to enjoy listening to while I ate my lunch. Overall I would give this place a solid recommendation. High marks across the board!! However, if there is one area where there could be an improvement... here's my suggestion: have your coke guy adjust the settings and add a bit more of the syrup into the soda. It's not bad as it is, don't get me wrong, but if you could rival McDonald's Coke...I'd be here all the time!! A very small suggestion but otherwise, an awesome visit!! Until next time!!

What a great little spot my husband and I stumbled upon.We entered and immediately greeted and welcomed. The bistro is quaint and very clean. The soothing music in the back ground is nice.I got the smash burger, and my husband got the double smash burger with fries.There are several smash burger spots in Fresno, but this is by far top tier and so tasty! You can taste the quality from the meat, to the bun and sauces. So delicious!!! The fries also were so good with a good crisp to each bite.All in all, great bistro-- such a great food spot in Fresno.

Came this place on my way home ordered the Combo single patty burger with a side of ranch. Burger was good not the best as I would have liked lettuce and tomato. I got a side of ranch for my fries as I'm dipping my fries something I noticed something in my ranch dressing. I used the fries to retrieve it and it was some sort of clear plastic looked like a twist of sort but stiffer and clear plastic. I mentioned it to the person cooking not sure if the owner he didn't seem too concerned I guess if it was somebody else maybe he at least would have given a sincere apology. But oh well won't be going there again I thought I had found a good burger my mistake.

Great service ..the food was tasty I loved the Brussel sprouts they we so delicious ..the ranch has a good flavor ..the smash burger was the first one I had so I don't have much to compare it to besides a regular burger but I enjoyed it had good flavor and the fries we awesome

So far I've only been here once to try the smashed burger. The place has a quaint bistro style vibe. The smashed burger was good and the other menu items also looked amazing too. They also have a yummy looking Sunday brunch menu as well that I'd like to definitely try. The two guys who are running it have a lot of passion and potential and I can't wait to see this place grow.

The storefront caught my eye, and the smell lured me in. Matt and Johnny are the perfect bro duo! They were both friendly, considerate, attentive, courteous, and hospitable. Love the layout, decor, and food. Especially after the sneak peek of a patron's fried chicken sandwich, we have already discussed our near future revisit. Also eager to try the brussel sprouts and Sunday morning pancakes.

We stopped by for lunch when out for a Sunday drive. Food is made to order and delicious. Portion size is great. Restroom was clean. Service was efficient. Chai latte was perfect. Great stop for Sunday brunch

I visited for lunch on a Wednesday with my husband and parents, and we arrived early in the day before the lunch rush. There is counter seating on the left when you enter as well as a narrow bar with stools to your right. Just past the main counter is the register where you order your meal, and beyond the register are dining tables and chairs that seat parties of two or four. At the time we arrived (just after 11:15) we had our pick of seating, but it definitely got busier just after 12, so I'd try to go early if you can and are wanting to go for a workday lunch.My husband and I shared a double smash burger which was served with cheese, shaved onions, pickles and bistro sauce and the patties were sizeable. (Excellent flavor, juicy well-seasoned patties, perfect balance of sauce and cheese.) We also tried the truffle parmesan fries which were perfectly salted and the truffle flavor was great while not being overpowering. And, I'm a big fan of a wedge salad (I blame Heirloom for getting me hooked) and it was served with bacon, plenty of bleu cheese and pickled onions and it was very cold and tasty, just like I like a wedge to be.Service was great - our food was brought to our table with attention given to providing extra napkins, clearing the table of used dishes for space, and boxes were provided for extra food. The portions were generous on everything we ordered, and the flavor was on point. The atmosphere was comfortable, inviting, warm in a friendly way (not temperature-wise) and the décor is French-bistro/café-inspired. Smash Bros Bistro is located in a small strip mall by 7-11 on the northeast corner of Bullard and Fresno Street near 41 and numerous doctors' offices, and I suspect it will become a very popular lunch spot for the many folks working in nearby offices. If you'd like to try their tasty food but are in a rush, they will happily take your orders by phone, too. I'd for sure go back to Smash Bros and recommend others visit soon as well. The owners know their stuff.
