Honestly, this place is hit with the mall taxI feel like burgers are overpriced to the point I don't even want to try them When they first opened, I was really excited, but the prices scared me so I ordered a Caesar salad that was already quite pricey with some chicken in it It was the driest and most bland and nastiest Caesar salad I had ever had Now I work at the mall so I ordered this as a pick up order Unfortunately, I was severely disappointed. Maybe on a good payday and give it another chance to try eat burger because it is after all called Slater's 50-50 burger But maybe 50-50 means it might be good. It might be bad. I'm not sure. I'm not quite sure what the vibes are inside. I do see they do have a bar however I don't know how good their drinks are or if they're fast.

The inside of the restaurant was newish, clean, and lively. I was open to trying it, but the food and service left a lot to be desired. I'd say, if you're looking for beer and TVs, it would be fine, but I don't think the focus of this restaurant is food quality. We went in on a weekday and it seemed there was no hostess and only 1 server for all the tables. We ordered salad with grilled chicken, a burger, and fries. The fries seemed frozen, not homemade. The salad was average but the chicken also seemed like reheated. The prices were higher than expected. We won't try it again.

Was super excited to try this place out after seeing it on TV and around the SoCal area. We found ourselves in Fresno and was surprised to find Slater's here at the mall. We had a late lunch here and there were only two other groups besides us.Got sat down and ordered a regular bacon burger with some fries and a cobb salad. Given the sparse crowd, it took super long to get our food out. I'm sure there's only one cook at this time of day, but as I looked around, it seemed the other groups already had their food. So I dunno.Food finally comes out, waitress left it on the table without a word. Oh by the way, our server did not wanna be at work today. Not rude, just no engagement from her. Food looked amazing. If the review was based on presentation and looks alone, five stars for sure.Dug in and it was just okay. It's a blended burger, which I personally didn't care for. But burgers are for sure based on individual tastes, so YMMV. I finished most of it. I can't even explain it. Not the best, but not the worst either. Fries were ok, nothing to write home about.Funny thing, I enjoyed the salad the most. Tons of ingredients they certainly didn't skimp on. But really fresh and delicious.I'll probably try a different location at some point, but I wasn't crazy about my late lunch experience here.

I was not impressed with the taste of anything we had here. I had the kings luau burger, and it was rare (the waitress didn't ask how I wanted it cooked) and the ingredients did not go well together. My side Caesar salad was terrible, as were the Mac & cheese balls. My $20 burger was definitely not worth it. They also were out of a lot of ingredients and dishes. Parking was a nightmare as well, and I had to walk a quarter mile late at night back to my car in this sketchy area.

I have not been to Slaters for sometime. Not much has changed, the place was dead. One customer at the bar and 5 tables. Waitress handling everything. She did a great job, and the food was ok. I commented to the server, the company is failing you. Because she was waiting on the whole restaurant., it took 10 minutes just to get water. After we ordered, 2 appetizer, brussel sprouts and flat bread, took 25 minutes. Server said 2 kitchen workers called in sick. Where's the Manager? Owner? Someone to help out. Server also said lunch is always slow there. The place was dirty, sticky, menu looked like it was ran through a dishwasher. Sat at a table, dirty and rocked back and forth. Don't adjust the legs. Last 6 months of reviews have been bad - food, service, place empty.So I wish they had sperate lines for each part, here's what I give.Server - 5 starsFood - 3 1/2 StarsRestaurant - 0 StarsNasty, Dirty, Sticky and needs a work over 5 - Stars.Server said Cheese Cake and BJ'S are dead also at lunch. Left Slaters at 12:30, Walked across to CC busy, drive over to BJ'S busy. So it's not dead, only Slaters. That's the rep they have now.Paul take some money from your accounting business and a least hire a bus person. Only providing 2 stars because the employee during my take out order was helpful yet didn't seem to be listening? Employee was helpful as it was my first time trying a Slater's. Once the meal was picked up I received an extra order of pork belly nachos but pointless as they're both dry and meat is burnt. No dressing on the salad and asked to sub out sauces for another but seemed like a waste of breath. Very unfortunate experience but I hope dining in will be better than ordering take out. Experience is the equivalence to getting door dash.
