The guy Javier cut my husband's hair and was talking on the phone the entire time. Let long strands not paying attention. So unprofessional. Never going back there again after being recommended in the first place. Very disappointed

I arrived 8am on a Sunday, knowing they had changed days they were open. Closed Tuesday & Wednesday. At that time, there were 3 barbers available, and I was told by one of them to have a seat at his station.Being there that early, you can get served pretty quick. As the day goes on, being the reasonably priced barber shop it is, there can be quite a wait. There's usually 6 or 7 barbers. Even then, it may be a wait, since this is a very popular barber shop, but we'll worth it. I travel around 8 miles, just to use this barber shop. Barbers give good Haircuts too. Highly recommend this barber shop.

I called the place in advance to see if they were open. A lady said they close at 5 over the phone. I went there with my father in law for a haircut. The place had their signs closed, but doors were open. Turns out there was confusion between a worker and the "boss," but they still gave us a haircut. The "boss" explained there was confusion with communication and said that we have to choose whoever's available to cut hair at the moment. The energy felt weird in the room, like if it was flustered. I give all people the benefit of the doubt, but now I'm wishing I was more assertive, or waited for the New Year...I got a haircut that should've been worth 3 dollars rather than 10. My father in law got a respectable haircut and his was perfect by the long haired barber. The one I got obviously wasn't much for conversation and didn't want to be there. He shaved my head faster than any other person that did their service throughout the time I've been going there. I understand people have bad days, i under if this year brings bad times, but if you DONT want to do the job right, then just go home. Don't make other people have a bad day. I had uneven cuts and patches that I should've noticed but I didn't notice it till I got in the car and put my glasses on. I also don't have the heart to make his bad day worse by calling him out in front of everybody. I felt and understood his frustration, but I ended up leaving more frustrated. I went to another barber to clean up the mess. This place is a good spot for a haircut, but choose your spot wisely. 7/8 of them are the right ones for the job. The rest need to take a break or leave

Very disappointing to see that they were closed for lunch....at 1:30 pm. Isn't noon the lunch hour? After being a loyal customer for over 30 years I think it's time to look for another barber shop.

I know that there are some negative reviews for this place but really, for the price, you can't beat it.My family (my dad and brothers) started going here forever ago and I introduced my husband and son to this place as well. My husband does not like going anywhere else because he gets his usual haircut and does not pay more than $6 a visit (4.50 for cut and 1.50 for tip). This place is old school and there is no sign in list. You just get up and go to who you can. Some of the barbers have a longer wait than others. Just beware, weekends can be EXTREMELY busy, so maybe go on a weekday. We LOVE Betty the owner, she has such a sweet but sassy personality.

I got fucked up here I asked for a drop fade and got skinned and also asked with for a curled fringe and he gave me a 7 guard Edgar

Been awhile since I've been there. The old owner, a very nice lady. Passed away 2 years ago, and the service has and quality went down alot. No one greeted me.they didn't greet anyone coming in. They don't ask what you need or if you're ready. They just look at you. Guy cutting my hair, a simple fade, kept walking away from me while cutting my hair to talk to another coworker ( who took his break while customers were walking in, and was busy). Unprofessional. He cuts hair decent, but customer service was bad, and walking away 3 times was irritating. I miss the way it was when previous nice older lady owner was alive.

Just received the best woman's haircut I've ever had for only $15. I tipped her because she did a great job. Her name is Debbie. Very clean nice place and humble people. God bless.

Please whatever you do don't go to this barber shop. First off they are all straight out of barber school, bottom of the barrel. Worst pick of the crop. You will do better having a 3 year old cut your hair. I was very explicit in what I wanted, she proceeded to not hear even one word I said and gave me a Mohawk. I'm a 55 year old professional I can't wear a Mohawk. I will probably be fired from my job tomorrow. Only way out is to kill myself, so please don't go there.​​

The worst haircut ever. It was crooked she shaved a spot on his head and shaved off the corner of his eyebrow. I will never go there again My grandson was crying in the car.she is to old and shaky to be cutting hair.
