Shawn’s Kitchen

So hubby and I were out for a drive and needed to grab a bite. A quick search of restaurants in the area brought up Shawn's, so we went. I'm so glad we did! The food was delicious, the service was really friendly and the atmosphere a comfy family friendly sit down type. I ordered corned beef hash, eggs, potatoes, and a biscuit with gravy. Holy hot cakes, was it delicious!! The potatoes I'm convinced were little crispy bites of perfectly seasoned bliss. Hubby ordered their bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. I'm pretty sure he loved it because he inhaled it as soon as his plate hit the table. We were both incredibly pleased and already looking forward to going back soon. If you are looking for a great local place, I totally recommend Shawn's!

The good, I got greeted right away and got to choose where to sit. The staff is nice and good portions are good. The bad, I asked for the beef brisket burger and to be honest I didn't taste anything different from what a bacon burger would be, don't get me wrong it was okay but wasn't worth the price difference from a regular cheese burger to the beef brisket I think 13.99 to 17.99 if I would of know that I would of just got the regular cheeseburger. Also I asked for no sauce and to me no sauce means no secret sauce or Mayo I hate Mayo and can't stand it and it was blobbed on with Mayo. I scraped it off as best I could but you could still taste it. The end was 20 bucks for burger and fries with a water kinda pricey if you ask me. Sorry I just like to be honest

Huge portions of delicious breakfast fare. Biscuits & gravey, perfect eggs Sunnyside up great country potatoes PLUS biscuits & gravey. You won't be disappointed nor hungry when you leave. And my slightly over done eggs were immediately replaced with perfect eggs with a d so mile. Nd apology. Heartily recommend this cafe if you are near Lindsay. Thx staff. I'll be back from porterville. Waffles d sad nd pancakes next.

We randomly chose a place on our drive through town and were fortunate to stumble upon this amazing breakfast spot. They have amazing customer service and most importantly great food! Every one of us really enjoyed this place!

Large portions, good homemade food, abs great service.I ordered the Country Stack and it's monstrous. And tasted great. The sausage patties are handmade and huge. Burger sized.

Fast service, large portions and delicious breakfast. Was craving traditional American breakfast, decided to try this place and we'll come back.
