Dr Steven's office is the most clean, modern, and comfortable optometrist office I've ever been to... CASSIE is the most helpful desk lady. When I first came in, Cassie immediately complimented my sister and I, she was so expressive and SWEETTTT. She is super understanding, sweet, charismatic, and also awesome on the phone as well. The wait is never long plus they provide magazines, water, and even children toys to keep your little ones preoccupied. Ashley, Eileen & Juanita are also awesome ladies, they're very relaxed, humble, and there if you ever need help. ANTHONY is also super helpful when it comes to finding the perfect lens for your eyes!! Also super helpful during your transactions! Rafael, the intern I believe, was also super sweet! He was very calm, clean, and super cool. Shout out to you with the sweet fit and thanks for the follow on insta!!! hahaDr. Mathur was an amazing doctor!!! She examined my eyes very nicely and made me feel comfortable! She is super sweet & knows EXACTLY what she is doing. I just love this atmosphere here.. everybody is so nice. I found Serrins Valley Vision while googling for a new optometrist. I called a few times and never got through while calling. I finally left a message the last time calling, and I did receive a call back. I made an appointment and was happy to finally have an appointment scheduled. Life happens and I had a work trip pop up, and I needed to reschedule. I have called at least 6 times over the last 2 weeks during business hours, and nobody has ever picked up. I have left 3 messages and nobody has returned my calls. Every time I receive a text from the business asking how they can help. I have responded to those texts and I have never received a response. What poor management. I'm going to make an appointment somewhere else as it's obvious they have problems. I have enough of my own problems. I don't need to deal with any of theirs.

Just left this office after my first visit and needed to immediately review! This place is incredible. I had a scheduling conflict where I had to leave in the middle of my exam but they didnt hesitate to accommodate my issue and told me just to come back when I was done. The customer service not only by the front staff but the doctor himself were the best I've ever experienced! The options for glasses and accessories are great too but the service is priceless. If this isn't your optometrist, make your appointment NOW!

I wouldn't recommend!! My husband and I are new to Visalia. We both wear glasses & contacts. We were never asked any clarifying questions about our eyewear when we booked the apt for an exam. When we ask a question if the insurance/benefits coordinator she became defensive, rude & tried to turn the situation back on us as if WE were out of line. I'm guessing that the rest of the staff & Dr's are fine, but she is the reason we walked out without getting an exam. If your first experience on the first day is terrible..... their terrible! Don't recommend!!!

I don't think you truly know who started this whole mess... because how could you possible know who i am talking about. Your unprofessional receptionist? Or the young man who works in the glasses area majority of the time. No one from "real" management called. Just your receptionist who acted like we were going to have a fist fight because your establishment was wrong and no one wanted to answer to it... sorry you have a very dysfunctional and corrupt office. Seems based on the reviews that their business is declining over the last year. I decided to try a new optometrist after using Stanton for several years because I wanted more of a family owned business and wanted to see the same Dr each year. I was recommended to this business by a friend and am now realizing I made the wrong choice. They never answer their phone. They do not call back once you leave a message. Even if you text them they do not respond or call back even though their automated text message asks if there's anything they can do to help. I got an appointment finally and did an eye exam for contacts and prescription for lenses. I got the trial pair of contacts and had to try so many different pairs but none worked super well which has never happened to me before. The girl said that they never had my exact prescription in house but that she gave me the closes option in each brand and that when it came time to order the ones I chose they the exact prescription would fit better. It had been almost 6 months of using trial after trial so I felt bad and just chose the pair that worked well enough compared to the others (my mistake). I used the lense prescription to buy glasses online but the prescription was not what I needed and I can't even wear the glasses without getting a headache from switching glasses/contacts. I wasn't able to get another eye exam because my insurance only covers one a year so I was stuck with this prescription because I placed an order for contacts they said there's nothing they can do unless I want to pay out of pocket for another exam which is over $200. I've been getting headaches and it's just frustrating. I am now eligible for a new exam but I cannot get through when I call them. I won't be going back.

My experience with Serrin on both the Mooney & Caldwell locations were a disaster. I was with them for 2 years and from day one starting with the Mooney I was treated bad by Maria whom I believe was the Supervisor. When, I switched to the Caldwell location I told them about my Spy glasses that I had gotten defective and I waited 2 years to get an another pair of frames and when I finally got them, they were also defective. I ended up getting a new pair of Ray Bans with a new prescription and this time I walked around for 3 weeks or so with a headache cus the prescription was wrong. When, told that they were hurting my eyes and head they told me that there was nothing more they can do for me. I paid really good money for frames and lenses and they acted like I was just complaining for no reason. All 2 years that I was there was nothing but problems. They don't seem to take their customer or jobs seriously I wasn't just complaining for no reason. Everything, that they did for me during the 2 years that I was there was a total disaster. I would often see and hear customers go in and ask to get their glasses fixed cus they were the same way as mine so I wasn't the only one. They have rude employees (Mooney Location) bad service, bad & defective frames, prescription on your lenses are crap and instead of making it right they end up telling you to go elsewhere. I was just told that they were not going to do anything else for me and to go elsewhere. This is after wearing bad glasses, having headaches for 2 years and spending good money. I don't believe that this is the way you treat people. To anyone who's thinking of going there DON'T DO IT!!!

Whenever, I call them they never answer it took me a while to make an appointment because they never picked up so I couldn't make an appointment. Now I'm having trouble again because they don't pick up to confirm that my glasses are ready to get picked up. I don't Know if their not picking up because it's holiday but if so then they should have put closed instead of open and the time that I went when I finally got my appointment all of the staff members were chatting while the phone was going off. Maybe they might have been on break at the time but I call almost every single day at different hours of the day and they never pick up.

I enjoyed the visit to this clinic. People were polite and caring. The volume of clients alone tells me I made a good choice in doing business here. The person who I saw for my vision needs actually told me some things that I'd not heard, so I appreciated that she actually seemed to care about my vision instead of only prioritizing a sale of new glasses.
