Why is this place five stars? It's all about the service they provide. You will get personal attention from owners Cindy, and Troy. Each visit they have spent a minimum of 20 minutes ensuring we got a splash of any beers we wanted to try and to see if we needed any refills. They take the time to explain their flavor profiles and what makes them different from other beers. They have opened my eyes to beers I never imagined I'd like. Is it my favorite beer ever? No, but it's really good brews with service I've never experienced at a brewery and what makes this five stars. I've paid for tours that get you this level of attention but they do it as it's their passion and they truly love their customers. We've enjoyed coming in every week for the last month we joined the muggers club. Being in the Madera ranchos it's the best option for beers and bar food. The only down side in my opinion is the hours I'm hoping their business continues to grow to expand their operating hours. If you want some beers with a personal touch this is the place to try in the Ranchos!

It's worth trying this brewery if you are in the area. Has a nice mom and pop feel. Service has always been great. I usually come in every 9-10 months or so to see if they have any new beers. We usually get a flight to sample their different offerings. Nothing really stands out or would inspire me to get a crowler to go or cans if they were to can their beer. There are just so many other exquisite beers in rotation around town that I can't imagine wanting to come here to have a beer frequently.

This is the bonus find of the year so far! The type of spot that hardly exists anymore with family running things and friendly staff all about. This is a place you bring your family who are welcomed like they should be. Food was outstanding. I had the best garlic chicken pizza since I moved out of the Bay Area. They brew their own beer including root beer which was delicious. Entertainment was a great local band whom I hope to see more often. Cheers for a wonderful night out!

We've been coming here since they opened right before covid hit. A family run pub that is great for hanging out. We can often be found here Monday evenings playing cards or on the weekends listening to live music. The service is top notch, even when they are busy. Troy, the brewmaster does a great job of consistently having the favorites while coming up with speciality brews often which keeps you coming back. Typical bar food for the most part, the wings and deep fried green beans are my favorites.

A fun place that you can bring the family. I'm usually a cocktail guy, but "Just Beer" was a big hit with me! The chicken fingers were good, and the mushrooms were GREAT!

Such a fun local spot! Great beer and great bites! The beer was so good it disappeared before I could get pictures!

If you're into Micro Breweries, this place is literally an one stop place. They've got a great selection of their own brews and while you drink, they can also satisfy your hunger with their menu. The loaded fries are enough to share with your party. They also offer pizza which is pretty great too. And when you get bored chit chatting, there's also board games and card games you can play while enjoying the brews that Second Son has to offer!

Great place to chill and relax. The husband and wife owners are very friendly and knowledgeable about the beer they make and the food. Very mom and pop vibe! Everybody that helped serve food and beer were friendly. They also have live music on Saturday. The Valdez brothers were playing from Clovis and they were great! Looking forward to going again! Everyone give them a try!

Don't go to this place. I came in at 8:30 and they were closing at 9. Seems the owners were knee deep in a card came and I was a disruption. They closed at 9 and I simply came in for a beer. They made me feel like a HUGE inconvenience. I will not be back and btw, the iPA was average. Lots of craft beer places in the area that would love my business. Skip this one.
