Seafood In The Sea

This is a hidden gem in Fresno providing fresh seafood cooked in various ways. I was curious about the tempura fish based other Yelpers. I was glad to have it as wasn't doughy tempura, it was like breaded or crusted crispy fish. It wasn't oily or anything. My mother opted for the cornmeal style of fish. I love cornmeal but figured we would swap. The cornmeal was great too! I would probably ask for it to be fried a little harder, but that's MY preference. Both baskets were beautifully prepared. The young man who helped me was very polite. We held a great conversation which made me feel even more comfortable about frequenting their establishment. They do not have places to eat. It's a place to call in or walk in and order their food. They also sell items like fish fry mix and other seafood related products. It's situated in a small shopping center, but I wouldn't pass them up! I'm looking forward to my next visit!

I'm giving this place 5 stars today not just because the food but Also the service it was amazing! I thought I'd stop here for lunch today in between work. I looked up the menu first hand on yelp and decided I'd go with the fried fish and shrimp meal. Definitely recommended perfect choice! The young man who took my order said it'd be a 10-15 minute wait . I walked over to the liquor store bought and iced drink and came to sit back in my car as it was hot outside! Somewhere I lost track of time and look up and there was the young man bringing my order to my car so I could take it to go hot & fresh! He also went back inside to grab me sauce when I asked and brought that out aswell ! I meanBeyond amazing customer service acts of kindness like that impress me. This place has 5 from me today I will try more meals and update the rating.

If perfectly crispy salt and pepper shrimp over rice with sauteed onions is what you are craving look no further!! This amazing mom and pop shop is THE SPOT to go check out!

Everything went well was hot when I got it didn't wait long but it needs a phone number one it stays on they should have orders for pickup

Great food with amazing service. Anytime my family wants seafood and I don't feel like cooking this is where I go.

The shopping center this establishment is in has a few great options for delicious food. Seafood in the sea is for sure the best one. The plates are affordable and they cook the food fresh. When we stopped by it was very busy. They get a lot of business walking in and placing orders on the phone. Not sure about how the seating is now but when I visited the tables and chairs were pushed against the wall. Everyone was waiting in line and taking their food to go. I got the fish and chips with coleslaw. Crab Rangoon. Everything was crispy and fried. Their tartar sauce was creamy. I really enjoyed the food so I'll be back if I'm ever close by. It's near the airport.

This is one of the best fried seafood places in town! I always get the seafood combo with cornmeal batter. U can choose tempura if u want but cornmeal is just muchhhh better IMO. Slap some hot sauce on that bih omg made fresh to order and it comes out piping hot! Not only does the combo come wit some big ass fish fillets, it comes with fried oysters and fried shrimp too on a bed of French fries. I think it comes wit cole slaw too but I don't really care for it much. The seafood is the star of the show ok. We focused only on the seafood! I've had their salt and pepper jumbo shrimp too and u can choose either a side of rice or fries. We always get fries. The seasoning is perfect. Not too salty. I like taking bites of the shrimp with the sautéed onions and peppers. I even tried their fried frog legs and they season it the same way as the shrimp. Food be smackin. The service is awesome. It's a family owned place. The lady taking my orders is always nice and friendly.

Great fish timely service call ahead if you're in a rush. Owners are very friendly and professional. I recommend the tempura batter!

The food was so good. I got the cornmeal option and I asked to get it extra crispy. My only suggestion would be for them to add a little salt to the batter. But I bought my own hot sauce so I was good !Edit: Changing my review from 5 stars because I went back to try the Chinese food and it was disgusting. When you thing of pork chow mein, you think of the bbq pork like other places but here they use pieces of pork chops smh. The fried rice is also nasty. I tried a side of tempura shrimp and it was as hard a a brick ! Super overcooked, the only things that's consistent is the fried fish and shrimp plater. So buyers beware !

Food was fresh, plenty and hot when I picked it up.Their fried oysters were a HIT!. The inside didn't have any chairs or tables for dining so call ahead to order!!(They take EBT) $1 extra for each meal to fry. Will definitely be back.
