Scottsmen Too Apartments

Staff & management doesn't care about the tenant's concern.. they don't care !.... they just want your money!..rent is getting up always!! Beware!!!!..lots of theft happening in the parking lot... It feels unsafe!. Discrimination is happening here!...Only the worker's here leave the good feedback! Right Patrick! (maintenance guy!)....He leaves feedback for himself!!! It's good we are out of this place!!!

HORRIBLE!! They take all your deposit and charge more on top of that. I feel that with all the money they charge for rent and deposit they shouldREALLY consider remodeling these apartments. The interior and carpet are so old.

Run away! It was really lovely at first, After living here for three years we had to move. The new management is terrible. The cops had to be called and countless occasions because of three different sets of neighbors fighting, partying etc. The grounds are kept nice but that it. My oven broke and after having them over to 'fix it' FOUR TIMES. It was still not heating I gave up and bought a toaster oven. I'm pretty sure they haven't replaced a anything since the 1960 including the carpet. When I moved out I hired a professional cleaning service. The management still found the most ridiculous things to charge me for including but not limited to. Dust on the walls $200 and a burnt out light bulb @$7.99 each!

Leaking sinks the maintenance is horrible can never get ahold of any one like it used to be my smoke alarm doesn't work been here over 5 years and they don't take care of anything like they used to so sad why call they just put everything off

Sorry, I can't understand the negative ratings. I've lived here over two years (had a temporary position in Clovis) and I'm going to miss all the gang a Scottsmen Too Apartments! From the very first day, the office and maintenance staff have been terrific. Things that needed to get fixed were fixed in a timely manner. Yes, the apartments are a bit dated, but there was still plenty of room in my 1-bedroom apartment for all my stuff and amenities. There's also a ton of storage space, including a spacious walk-in closet. My upstairs apartment had a small balcony which was a great place for just sitting and relaxing. The office staff was always so willing to help and make accommodations. The maintenance staff were quick to help and to give a friendly wave as they drove past on their carts. But, add to this a swimming pool, two Jacuzzi spas, a picnic and barbecue area with ping pong table, a decent size workout room with good equipment and a meeting room that looks sharp ... and you have a wonderful experience. But, wait! There's more! You're within walking distance of some terrific restaurants (Carrillo's Mexican Restaurant, Thai Country, Bowleze) and you're a less than 10 minute stroll from Old Town Clovis with everything it has to offer! Thanks, Scottsmen Two Apartments for a truly memorable experience these last two years!

Very hostile and unprofessional behavior from management, especially Denise and Eddie. Tenants often come home to nasty letters at their front doors regarding policies, maintenance, and all other manner of things. You would think a business would exercise some modicum of professionalism and respect, but their behavior since I've moved in has been unbelievably rude. I don't want to live in an environment like this and will definitely not be renewing my lease.

Management does not care about the residents. If you put a concern in it will go ignored. Customer service is awful. I do believe this starts with a manager that cares. The pool looks like a science project and is not properly taken care of. As long as you pay rent they are happy, but do not consider this is our home. You have cars that looked abandoned. Washer and dryers that sound like they are going to explode. It's time for management to get up and make this property what it could be.

One star is complimenting our experience. wish I could leave NEGATIVE stars on this review! I have NEVER dealt with such attitudes from a staff that is supposed to know that they are dealing with people. I honestly believe each individual in the office HATES their jobs. Rusty lied, Blanca lied, Denise lied...the entire office lied. These people actually act like they are doing you a favor if they speak to you. Poor maintenance. Poor follow up, and piss poor apartments with outdated appliance. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE.

Worst ever Apartment that I have lived,I want to give negative 5 star if possible. Money hungry, we went to pay on the due date and they don't accept check, so I had to go buy money order as they required, but when I went pay money order on the next day, they said it's already late and we had to pay the late fee...DO NOT RENT THIS APARTMENT!!!

As someone with a career in property management I have had the displeasure of hearing about many shady property managers so I'm not often surprised to hear more stories. This one however is a little different, a member of my family that lives in these apartments is dying so my family with power of attorney decided to put a 30 day notice in due to the fact that he is in hospice and he can no longer stay there. They told us at time of the 30 day that he will owe $3,700 to break lease and to pay back any promotions.They have been calling other members of my family to request this money, none of which are co-signers or on the lease, meaning they are not financially responsible. This property has a relatively low vacancy rate and it really shouldn't be difficult to get it rerented but they would rather waste their time harassing people that are not financially responsible in a desperate attempt to get money from a dying man. That is pathetic and morally reprehensible. It's easy to not be a scumbag, if you're looking for a property that is free of managers that are looking to take advantage of you there are many great places to look however this is certainly not one of them.
