My household has been searching for housing for approximately 9 months now. It was such a breath of fresh air to deal with Yesenia from San Mar Properties. From the initial telephone call, to meeting/viewing, to the follow-up, we were so very impressed by Yesenia's professionalism, kindness, tact, and overall exemplary customer service. Also, I noticed a separate review here on Yelp mentioned something about discrimination, which left me stumped, as it is completely to the contrary. There's not a discriminatory bone in this company. To explain, my household's personal situation had/has us encountering blatant, rampant discrimination from other management companies/landlords in Fresno and Clovis; however, NEVER did we even sense an iota of any discriminatory behavior from Yesenia or San Mar that even so much as hinted such. All in all, my household is ever so grateful at the company's willingness to personally assist us, as well as the exceptional manner in which Yesenia treated us and thoroughly went over everything in detail. Thank you, Yesenia, for going above and beyond the call of duty! Thank you, San Mar, for your immaculate properties and unparalleled willingness to kindly work with folks like us.

I've worked for San Mar Properties Inc. for 4 years now and have nothing but good things to say. They have always been family oriented and understanding. They truly want there employees to succeed. I enrolled in the company 401(k) as soon as I was eligible. I decided to go back to school after 2 years of working for San Mar. I was able to use the money I had saved in my 401(k) to pay for all of my schooling. San Mar also was flexible with my school schedule and allotted any time off I needed for class and even time to prep for tests. San Mar is a great employer and property management company.

My sister was looking for house for rent in the Fresno Area. Rosemary was super helpful, she went out of her way to make sure she was taken care of, we didn't have to do all the footwork to finding the perfect place! The staff here is amazing !

Dont expect much or any of your security deposit back, they charged us for an exhaust fan that we did not know was in the apartment because it never worked to begin with! Then they charged US for it! unbelievable.. we had showered with the window open everyday but once we move out they want to charge us to fix it up. Disgusting, and if you think you are only going to rent from them for only a year or two they will charge you HUNDREDS to repaint the whole apartment just fyi if you're considering renting with these people.

do not rent at coalinga crossing or peppertree apartments it is poorly mismanaged by the same manager!!! we really regret applying for an apartment at coalinga crossing. the property manager maria lured us to sign the lease and took our money both the $900 deposit and rent and the apartment they gave us looked totally crappy and different from what we saw at the in person tour. what we paid for is not what was advertised on their online website or the in person tour. the manager maria falsely advertised their apartments at coalinga crossing and there was no transparency at all. the manager informed us the apartment was ready for move in on january 3, 2024. when we got the keys to the apartment rented out to us, when i inspected the place the kitchen countertops were outdated, there was a few dead roaches on the counter, the bathtub was very stained and dirty with brownish substances everywhere, the bathroom mirror was in a very bad shape and condition with black large scratches everywhere. the manager fail to inform us of the bad condition of the apartment. the apartment was not ready at all and shouldn't have been listed or rented out. we couldn't even stay one day at the apartment because of how disgusted we were of the place. when we confronted the manager maria about the above issues she refused to give us our money back both the $900 deposit and the rent. when we dropped off the keys and told her we didn't want the apartment anymore due to the fact she clearly was not transparent with us at the beginning when we asked if the apartment shown to us during the tour looked the same to the other apartments. we were cleared out of their system and maria told us to contact the corporate manager rebecca to get our deposit and rent money back. when we tried to call several times and email the corporate manager rebecca, we were totally ignored and our phone calls were not answered at all. the only one time i spoke to the manager rebecca on the phone regarding the apartment issue, she promised to get back to us but she never did and continued to ignore our phone calls, and emails. we are very upset of the outcome, for all the inconveniences, false advertisement, lack of transparency, financial loss, and the unnecessary distress we passed through during the past month psychologically and physically at coalinga crossing apartments. both the managers failed to do their jobs in managing their properties and making sure their apartments are presentable within the agreement of the contract. they did not build a trust relationship with their clients and fail to provide a safe environment for their residents to feel comfortable in renting at thier apartment property. we will never rent at this property or any of their other properties in the near future again. we highly do not recommend coalinga crossing apartment or any of their other properties they manage at all!!!

I love San Mar Properties!My apartment complex (Old Town) was sold and placed with San Mar over a year ago. Since being with San Mar, we have been well taken care of! Our manager, HEATHER WEATHERLY, is AWESOME!!! She always goes the extra mile, communicates on a regular basis, and sees that repairs are handled asap. She's always very courteous, kind, and helpful. I feel confident in recommending San Mar and Heather to manage your property, and to rent from as well!

San Mar is 5 star service! They have managed our properties in Fresno/Clovis for the last decade and we are so grateful for them.They are always available and take the time because they really care. They care about their clients, properties, and staff, and each community. They know each area and always recommend best and practical solutions. If you see a sign in front of a property that says "Managed by San Mar", you know that you are in good hands!
