Let me be clear-- NO ONE makes better Lao food than my Mama, but if I had to choose a place to go eat the cuisine... it's here! My siblings and I love this place... my bf does too and he's pretty picky sometimes when it comes to Lao/Thai food (he's mexican). He thinks he doesn't like fish sauce but little does he know-- that baby goes in practically everything we eat!! It's a cute little spot, nice and clean. Not a lot of seating but still a good amount. I've never had any issues and have only ever waited when we had a big party (5+). The staff is always super friendly and are pretty good with checking on us & refilling our waters/drinks.Now, onto the good stuff: The foooood!I may be biased, but damnit, our food is bomb.com. There has never been a visit where we don't order the Lao Sausages, you've gotta!! Instead of the tomatoe sauce they give with it, I prefer the Jeow Som ("sour" sauce- consisting of lime, fish sauce, peppers, etc)... trust me. That with fresh sticky rice-- Ooh, I'm salivating just writing this! Next, noodle dishes are my go-to. Phad Thai, Phad See-Ew, Khao Piak Sen, Khao Poon, Pho (but, I mainly stick to the shareables aka the first two items)... Ugh, I'm getting hungry. If I'm with my sisters, it's guaranteed Papaya Salad is being ordered, Lao style, extra spicy. I'm good with spice, but I am not on my older sister's level... she's a maniac when it comes to spice. Love the cabbage that comes with it-- gives it that extra, fresh, crunch! I also like getting the Khao Poon noodles to eat with it as well. The Nam Khao is another dish we like to get. Though it's a rice dish, I'd consider it refreshing because you'd eat it as a lettuce wrap. If I'm with my bf, he usually goes for the Red Curry with a side of steamed rice. Very flavorful and filling. We almost always have leftovers. Nam Tok is always a good choice to go with, and their Spring Rolls are yummy and refreshing as well, to share. If you have space in your belly to fit dessert, the Sweet Rice w/ Mango is the way to go. Side note on the Phad Thai since it wouldn't let me write all this on my photo caption:Squeeze the lime all over that baby, throw in the peanuts and the pepper flakes on the side, mix everything up, get those bean sprouts in there (I used to hate Bean Sprouts growing up) -- you need that refreshing crunch with this dish! Peanuts are crucial as well (sorry if you're allergic, that sucks)! Drizzle on Sriracha for more spice!! Fun fact: It's Thai Iced Coffee over Thai Tea for me.I always get Thai Iced coffee at any/every Thai restaurant I visit. The best I've had so far was somewhere in LA. Where? Sadly, this was years ago so my brain did not retain this information. *CRYING*Anyway, there you have it. Get ready to get punched with flavor in your mouth!! Already looking forward to my next visit!

I recently visited and had an overall okay experience. The papaya salad was a solid choice - it had a good balance of flavors, though it leaned a bit sweeter than I preferred. That being said, if you enjoy a sweeter papaya salad, this one would hit the mark for you.The laab was also decent. We ordered it medium rare, and it came out well. However, it too was on the sweeter side, which didn't quite match the more savory profile I'm used to with laab, but it wasn't bad by any means. The innards soup was another highlight; it had a nice depth of flavor, and I enjoyed it. Similarly, the sticky rice was cooked well and a nice accompaniment to the meal. While the food was fine, I do have to mention that it was a bit pricey for what we got. Overall, it was a pleasant meal, but nothing that stood out as exceptional. I'd say it's a good option if you're in the area and craving some Lao/Thai food, but not something I'd rush back for given the price.

My son & I were looking forward to some good pad Thai. We were disappointed. We shared the pad Thai, we only ate half of it, the other half is still in the fridge, neither of us have a desire to finish it. It was basically rice noodles with sauce. Where was the egg? Or vegetables? The lone green onion cut in 4" inch sections? Way overpriced based on the quality of food. A street vendor would've done better. The chicken in the satay was overcooked and also overpriced for 3 skewers; that like 5$ a skewer. The 4 eggrolls were good, but also overpriced. Service was so so and inconsistent. We spent 60$ before the tip for two appetizers and one main dish that was barely edible. Disappointed

On a Thai food binge. Haven't been here in years. I ordered dinner online for pick up. Order: Pot-Tom Yum Talay, chicken pad Thai and sabaidee lao sausage. I set the pick up time for 7:15pm. Arrived at 7:16pm. This place was lively so many diners. I was greeted as I entered the gentleman who greeted me ask if it was for pick up I said yes. He went to the back and packed my order. 17 minutes later I was home I unpacked all the food. Everything was still warm and packed neatly pretty big portions. Parts of the sabaidee Lao sausage was burnt but it had really good flavor. The Tom yum talay soup had options for spice from 0-10 and options for clear broth or coconut. I chose the mild spice with clear broth. Good amount of seafood but the squid was really hard and chewy. Soup was good but a bit in the sweet side. The pad Thai was just okay missing alittle sweetness and the chicken was little dry. Overall the food was pretty good and satisfied my Thai food craving for the night. The portions were good in size definitely have some left overs. The staff were also friendly. I would definitely return.

Called for take out, my call was answered promptly and the server who took my order was friendly and helpful. I ordered the beef phad see ew and masamun curry with chicken (spice level 2) & sticky rice. Everything was delicious. The spice on the curry was just right for me. I like jalapeños on my pizza and sriracha on my pho but I don't like my mouth to be on fire. Spice level 2 was great for that.Nice portions - Can't wait to eat my leftovers tomorrow.

Used the online ordering system to place our order which was ready right on time. Very friendly staff handed over a bag chock full of delicious Thai dishes. We loved that you could customize the spice level on each dish using a 10 point scale. Most of our dishes ranged between 4-7 and seemed to and as a spicy lover, I'd recommend going with the 6 or 7 and above. The red curry was full of chicken and veggies including eggplant and green beans and was quite delicate in flavor. Note: dish does not come with rice so be sure to order a la carte. Several different noodle dishes were ample sized and again full of both meat and veggies. The kitchen was able to accommodate some special requests with no problems. The fried spare rib appetizer and egg rolls were both delicious. I'd skip the Nam Tok next for although it's typically a favorite, this one was a bit bland.Interior appeared clean. Will definitely be returning to try out more dishes.

The service is food is on point. I don't eat papaya salad at all but their Thai papaya salad is AMAZING! So far, this location is my favorite go to spot for Lao food. Their pho is ok, the Kasoy is good and lots of good food in the menu.
