Rubens Family Haircuts

Writing this review on behalf of my boyfriend who doesn't Yelp! Came here on a whim because my bf needed a quick fade for an event we had and I'll just say, Ruben was awesome ! He was so kind, and my bf looked so fresh and so clean after the cut lol.This barber shop literally is a hole in the wall. I highly recommend Ashlan Center Barber Shop.

Well my experience was OK at best oh it wasn't that bad it was only about 20 minutes around 3 o'clock. The bad part is that I asked for a fade with it longer on top and it turned into a parted to the right haircut and it's not very even. Filled my hair with gel on it didn't look too bad I don't really like Gel so I washed it off at home and I turned out with a pretty uneven left side and the right side cut lot shorter and left side.Not very much hair on top left probably will be cutting the rest myself.

Great haircuts, miss taking my kiddos to Ruben, since we moved it's been a little hard going across town but we make it in sometimes. Highly recommend him if you are near by or far!

Ruben did such a wonderful job on my haircut, his customer service skills was definitely amazing. I've heard about his shop before and I'm glad that I stopped in for a cut from him. The moment that I walked in I already knew from the start that I chose the right place, the connection and conversations that he has with customers is something that is hard to find from other shops.

I had to go to an event and my barber was closed. So I found this place online with good reviews. But come to find it is a Horrible place. I asked for a line up and the guy doing my bread ran it all over bread. Like I asked for a trim of number 2 and he ran it like it was 1/2. When I saw what he did I was mad he said that's how he does trims and lines ups. My bread wasn't even right!! I had to go home and do a full clean shave and let it grow back!! Never going to him again. If you want a cheap quick horrible service go to this place. Otherwise stay away!!!

Ruben has great customer service! Always does a great job! I have two teenagers that are extremely picky. Ruben gives awesome fades and talks to everyone!

Great barber. I'm very sorry that Covid has caused the temporary closure. I'm very hopeful that soon I can take my grandson back for a cut.
