Romeo's Pizza & Sandwiches

Went on my lunch break and sera greeted with a smile asked what I wanted and made it. The sandwich that she made was prepared quickly and nicely also tasted great. Thank you sera for an enjoyable lunch

Well I came here on Friday May 31 at 5:10 and although the "open" sign was lit, the door was locked and there were no employees in sight. There were a group of 4 people that were waiting several minutes before I got there. They all left while I still waited outside. After approximately 15 minutes and 3 more different people attempting to open the door and knock multiple times, I left and took my business elsewhere (just like the rest of the people). Idk how this business will stay open if they can't be open at peak business times. Perhaps the employees in charge left somewhere or were in the back room. Hopefully the manager or owner read this and make the necessary changes.

Um they need different bread. It tastes ugly. It's hard and I can't describe the taste but I don't like it. I see lots of locations and lots of people coming in and out I would think they'll step their bread up as well as the meat and the lettuce doesn't look good. Girls shouldn't have their nails done its unsanitary, and at least put a smile on. One time they forgot my kids meal PB&J. But other than that they do their job right. Just wish the food quality a little better.

If I could give negative stars I would. Horrendous customer service. First, when you order your pizza they bend down and grab one from under the counter that doesn't appear to be refrigerated or feel like it has been so who knows how long it's been sitting there. Then they girls' overall customer service isn't even bad... It's shit. Not prized horse shit either, it's like... Whale shit. No hi, bye, thanks, welcome to Romeos, NADA. It's like the soup nazi from Seinfeld. The girl handed me a pizza with the plastic all torn off. I asked for a different pizza that was sealed and she got irritated, wordlessly took the pizza and put it in a heater with some Saran Wrap and then told me it would be a few minutes. Clearly she missed the fact that I didn't want a pizza that had been exposed for god only knows how long. I grew up eating Romeos on marks and the lady there is nicer than these girls and she doesn't even speak English! The owner seriously has a type, all young girls with a specific body type that are complete snots! Not to mention that the last time I was there they were sitting on the countertops where your food is made. Let that sink in. Also, I have noticed that if you are a guy you will free things, a flashy smile etc. But if you are a white female or just white in general... Go somewhere else. I tossed my 5.00 pizza when I got home. No telling what the hell was crawling over it with a big rip in the seal. Place is horrid. I do not recommend for so many reasons.

I couldn't decide if I should give them 2 or 3 stars so I just gave them 3 because the sub sandwiches are usually really good there and I say usually because I just went there the other day and got a sub that was made bad but other than that I have never had a bad sandwich. the sandwich I got was their new chicken sandwich, I have had it about 3 times already and I loved it but this last time they went so skimpy on the chicken that half my sandwich had no meat on it and its the most expensive sandwich on the menu so I feel I got ripped off.Also I would like to somewhat warn people who like to customize their order that they dont really pay attention to how the make things and they mess up a lot, its not a big deal to me because I just pick out what I dont like (pickles) but if you tell them anything they give you an attitude about it and I believe their policy is once you walk out the door with your order then its oh well if its not right.That though is why I wont give them a higher star rating.. because their customer service is HORRIBLE. Ive been to both locations, Kings canyon and Tulare Street, and the workers there are always rude. The other day I told the girl thanks when she handed me my food and she never replied to me and turned her back and walked away. I have to say I have never been to any restaurant where every visit has left me wondering why their employees are rude. Do they hate their job? Does management make them like that? Is it company policy? Or do they seek out to hire rude people? idk but Ive just learned to not even talk with the employees other than ordering and saying thanks.Also Ive had their pizzas there before and they are nothing special. You basically get what you pay for, they are priced at $4. My husband likes the pizzas there but I hardly never order one anymore because for $1.55 more I can go to Leonardo's Pizza on Kings Canyon and get a way better pizza, and its already cooked. So yeah, I only recommend the subs... but its just my opinion.

There service sucked at this location. Chick wouldn't give me her managers name or number or her name. Went to Subway across the street and received great service.

Way better service here! Even the lady here chopped it and had good attitude while making my sandwich meal. Also even acknowledged me as I walked in the door while they were working with another customer :) OLIVE AND CEDAR WAS NOT THE BUSINESS! Ambiance was great here!

Are you looking for shit customer service? How about dirty and unorganized? Do you love being talked to like you're stupid for requesting that the staff wash their hands after touching the payment machine and then making your sub? How about being ignored and then disrespected for wanting a custom sub? Do you love places that refuse to wear gloves (even before COVID) or a mask? Romeos on 1st & Tulare is where you need to go! Last time I went I asked to hold the tomato and was told that all subs "have to have everything on them". Seriously she said this. Both of the girls in there are horribly rude. Legit thought I was being pranked. It's like an episode of the Twilight zone how bad they suck and the basic functions of their job.Enjoy!

Crap...crappy service...low quality meat...had grey ham....garbage...,,,,now the one on cedar and shields...is much better...would give a zero if I could

NO where in the place does it say take and bake....Ordered a pizza with NO where to cook it. Dumb chick at the register said to bad it's already been charged. Very rude, poor attitude. Definitely not the way to do business....WTF They deserve a zero star rating
