Rio Acai Bowls

Their Acai Bowls are incredible. I have been here 4 times now & found it on accident as it is not near where I live. Very much recommend it =).

I called ahead to place an order, only to be told, "Unfortunately, this location doesn't take phone orders." No alternative options were provided--just that I had to come in person. I then tried ordering online, but their website only allows orders for Bakersfield locations, with no mention of the Fresno location at all.Despite the frustrating start, I decided to go in person. Unfortunately, the experience didn't improve. The register attendant didn't greet me--no hello, no smile, just a blank stare. Not the warm, welcoming service I've come to expect.I've been a longtime customer, with my last review dating back to 2019, and I know they're capable of better. I hope they consider bringing back some form of order-ahead option for their neighborhood customers and work on restoring the great customer service that originally made this place stand out.

Mediocre but it's probably one of the better options for downtown Fresno. They don't do phone in orders unfortunately and they get quite busy at lunch. Food orders take longer to fulfill. They all come in the same container but the amount of protein increases with the sizes. I would stick to the large because it has the best ratio of protein to rice. The medium size wasn't that much more than the small. The rice was always too hot and it partially steamed the fish by the time it reached me. The presentation and toppings vary depending on the employee. *The Hawaiian: hard pass as it was so bland. The onions were cut on the thicker side and there was no accompanying sauce. Needed more sesame seeds and oil to give some moisture. *Spicy Poke: heavy on the sriracha but at least there was moisture. The spice masked some of the fishiness. The onions were still too thick. *Acai Smoothie: a bit expensive but tasty. It was rich and heavy with berry flavor. I wouldn't go out to eat here specifically but it does the job for the area. And they really have to stop using extremely hot rice as the base.

BEST ACAI AND PITAYA BOWLS IN FRESNO!I've reviewed this place before but this place 5 stars and idk why I didn't do so before! Their bowls are so fresh and yummy. If this place were closer to me, I'd get it all the time. The paleo is my personal favorite!!! The inside is super spacious and clean! Came in with a group of friends and our bowls were made pretty fast. My friend said this is her favorite place to get acai bowls too!

Yelped recommended this place as I am in town for work trip. I happened to crave a poke bowl and well the reviews were in between so I thought why not give it a try. This poke bowl was legitimately awful, the salmon had such a fishy smell and they used like regular hot sauce. Not was I expected by no means and the employee who helped me seem annoyed because I was asking questions.

I'm so done with this place. They get the order wrong 90% of the time. I ordered a large on doordash and got maybe a medium?? This is ridiculous. Used to be great but has gone way down hill. We will not be back.

I was expecting this place to be better bc several reviews were raving on that this was the best açaí in Fresno, so I had to try it for myself. It was average and nothing special.. I got the Rio and the acai base was too sweet for my liking, definitely sweeter than a normal açaí bowl. (I'm one who likes sweet treats, but this felt like it was going to give me a tooth ache from the sugar). I've definitely had better acai than this. Did not seem worth the money spent.

This place is great. Great location. Great food and drinks. It you like açaí this is the best place planet wide!!

I have been coming here almost every day for months, the açaí is great and fruit is fresh. The only thing is there is no customer service. The employees are always in a bad mood and never greet their customers. They need a new team.

Hulk smoothie was great! Poke bowl was pretty gross but that's my personal opinion. I didn't enjoy the dry type of rice and raw onions used and over use of sauce. And that's about all that came with it along with the poke of course. Service was great. Bathrooms available for customers. Free parking around.
