I needed an oversize club chair with matching ottoman recovered. Renn Upholstery had many, many fabric options to choose from. My fabric was ordered and came in about 4 weeks later. They took six days to recover the chair and ottoman as well as add a bit of cushioning to the backrest. They did a great job. This furniture had a lot of welts and the arms were rolled, so not an easy job I think. It really exceeded my expectations. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Will 100% use them again if the need arises.

There are very few high-quality craftsman in the upholstery business any longer, and this place is the exception, with a tremendous staff of craftsman! We had kitchen chairs recovered that have been in our family for 40 years, and they did such a tremendous job - from the quality of the material to the fit and finish. We are so pleased and happy with their work.

Would not recommend. Took a $350 deposit. Got my seats done somewhere else because it was 2 month plus wait. Said they got the material but the cost of the material was over $300. I got the seats done for less than that amount with the same material. Seemed dishonest about material cost especially since I'm sure they get it cheaper than if I were to buy it.

The quote price was $200 higher Academy Upholstery. No more thoughts. I'm going to Academy Upholstery.

I requested an upholstery shop through Yelp and Renn's was the first to respond. I specifically asked my small job for six tops to barstools be done before Thanksgiving. Renn's asked me to send pictures (which I did) and he quoted me $75 each plus material and just drop by the shop. I took the tops the next day to his shop only to find out he was out for four days. His employee said the lead time was 6-8 weeks. I explained his bosses response and he helped me select a remnant roll so we could meet the timeline. He also said his boss's word was good. I texted his boss later in the day only to be told he could not get them done on time without an extra $15 each for a rush job. I told him I would pick up my tops the next day - he was outrageous on cost and dishonest. All I got was an I'm sorry. I then took my job to Art's Upholstery and was very happy with Art's business practices. So much for Renn's word! Beware of dishonest practices at Renn's.

I must say, I'm in agreement with the majority of reviewers. Quality, kind, and fast. Not necessarily the cheapest in town, but as the saying goes... you get what you pay for!Would I use them again? I had a kitchen banquette done and was pleased with the outcome. The quality of the workmanship was excellent and I will use Renn again on upcoming projects. They set and met a reasonable timeline. They were friendly, professional and carried a great selection of fabrics to choose from.
