Raymond General Store

My son lives nearby and I treated him to lunch here. We both ordered bacon cheese burgers with regular fries. The food is made to order so it was fresh and hot. The fries were hot and crispy which you don't get from restaurants these days. The store has a lot of history inside and the cook I checked out with was able to tell me about the upstairs which is closed to the public. If you want good food at decent prices, then stop in here.

This place is a jewel. I love their burgers and the atmosphere is just like going back in time. If your driving through Raymond inst9p and get the burgers and hot fries.

Stopped here for breakfast before heading home. My friend who's almost a local had told us how great the food here is and she was so right! Two of us ordered biscuits and gravy with eggs the gravy is top notch -pretty spicy which is unusual. One friend ordered the French toast which she liked and the other ordered a American style breakfast burrito. The food was great and including drinks the bill was under $40!!! I hear the burgers here are great and look forward to having them the next time I'm in town.

Rode my Harley up to Raymond General store arrived about 130 in the afternoon. Two ladies were working in the kitchen and made my cheeseburger fresh with hot crispy fries and thanked me for my business. Nice to see a small place like this doing well.

This review is concerning my usual trips to Raymond General Store as a local. Selection is decent for an old store in a one horse town. Prices are hit and miss. Some things are a great deal, others not so much. Kitchen can be really good depending on WHO is cooking the food. Building itself is historic as can be. Love itThe reason for the 1 star review is the middle aged lady who usually works weekdays. Worst customer service IMHO. This would be a 5 star review absent of this.

They don't have to have food this good because they don't have much competition, but they do. Their home cooked goodness can't be beat when you have a hankering for a favorite. I didn't know about the GS when I moved to Raymond, but I learned quickly. YUM.

Food was really good! Service was great and the ambiance of the 100+ year old place was fantastic!! We will be going back very soon.

This place will do in a pinch since it's the last stop before hitting the Ranchos or Coarsegold respectively. It's historic and worth seeing for a picture. Otherwise it's just a typical store of nothing special. Prices are super high, debit credit transactions take forever.Selection is minimal, and the employees unenthusiastic. Yeah, I'll probably be back for some necessity I was stupid enough to not have in my truck, but Ranchos will always be my stop.

This old fashioned general store is a fun place to visit. The food is delicious, the building is unique and the staff is friendly.

If your looking for a great cheeseburger this is the place! I believe In and Out burgers has its compititor Anyway these burgers are pretty darn good. The building was built in the 1900s and it's quaint and unique laid back atmosphere.
