Rancho Fresco Mexican Grill

Rancho Fresco brings Mexican flavors to life with its delicious homemade tortillas and fresh ingredients. Their tacos are a standout, with warm, soft tortillas that are made in-house daily. Beyond the amazing food, their staff  is always very friendly. They also have a center bar in the middle of the restaurant, if that is your scene. You would think a center bar might be a distraction, but it really isn't. One thing that always cracks me up, is you first start with the person rolling out your homemade tortilla. You tell them what you want, they grab the appropriate size ball of dough and ask you what kind of meat. The funny thing is, the person pulling your tortilla off the cast iron comal is not the same person rolling out the dough. So you always get asked twice what kind of meat. I have no clue why the first person asks what kind of meat since they don't let the person 6' away know what kind of meat I would like. That being said, go there for the tortillas if nothing else. You won't be disappointed.

We went for drinks and they were all amazing! Apart from not having any sugar for the rim, it was all perfect! Service was alright! The other customers at the bar were a little loud but that's expected at a bar! $40 for the 3 drinks! There was a lot of space in the building, even a stage in the corner, but only the bar was full!

We were greeted when we walked in. They make your tortillas rite there as you order no pre packed. I had the carnitas they were pretty good. Their chips are made there also and you have a choice if you would like flour or corn tortilla chips that's awesome loved that option. The taco salad shells are fresh and are delish not to greasy just perfect size. They also have a salsa bar.

The food is just average and the service is not the best. I was in there behind a large group of soccer kids and soccer moms. They literally have been standing there for about 5-8 minutes looking at the menu. Nobody is as ordering and so I called in my order and even though none of the soccer folks had placed an order yet, the cashier / cooking staff said they can't start my order until that big group has ordered! I want to emphasize that no one had put in an order from the big group yet. I ended up getting my food somewhere else but I did go by another day just to try the food and it was just average... definitely not worth another trip based on service and food taste.

Reeks of piss as you walk in. Stuck up female manager that drives the silver jeep is unhappy with her life and shares the vibe with you as pay. Tip: invest in a pressure washer and some dish soap, and spray put that piss den next to the entrance of your business that you park in front of. Get some class

Came here before our show at the Gallo. Very friendly service. Fresh made tortillas were delicious! Had something for everyone. We had the chili verde and grilled chicken. Both of them were delicious. They put on the soccer game when we asked. Music was lightly playing in the background and very upbeat but you could still talk. Would easily stop here again!!

First time here. Food was good, they ran outta party wings so that how I needed up with pizza and burger. Pizza was fresh and I ate it later not warmed up, the sandwich was cooked just right(not dry) and my drinks were very delicious. The ladies working were great. Nice spot for a Sunday

Okay. I always say "the kitchen is only as clean as the bathroom". Although the food was good, so I thought. I was seriously disgusted of the things I seen after eating. I was horrified of what I found when I went to the men's restroom. It seriously looked like a crime seen! The light was burnt out. One urinal ripped off the wall. Another covered in a garbage bag. And the last remaining had what looked to me to blood splatter on it! Then the toilets all looked like war zones. The floors were absolutely disgusting! You're absolutely lucky you can't smell the smell!!!How could anyone ever use these facilities is beyond me! I have added pictures. Even got a picture of the front door after leaving. Should be called Rancho Raunchy. I'm sorry, but how this passes inspection is beyond me!!!

Great place to eat super delicious food plus the view is right in Downtown Modesto a must place to visit

First time eating at Rancho Fresco and the food was delicious. Shrimp Nachos are very good.
