Rancheros Mexican Restaurant

The place is very nice and the staff were friendly and welcoming but I have to say the food is just average. The menubis pretty large and the prices are good and I can see why the clientele in the area really like the food. Thus place is definitely right for the neighbor hood with a mild flavor and eclectic atmosphere.

We love ordering takeout from Rancheros! While dining in can take a bit of time, the takeout option is so much quicker and more convenient for us. The food is always amazing, and the salsa is absolutely delicious--one of our favorites! Everything is packed well and ready to enjoy when we get home. Highly recommend this spot if you are craving mexican food!

This is my mom's first time here and this is my first time having breakfast here. Of course everything is so delicious and we will definitely come back. It's a great place to bring your dog because you could sit out on the patio. My mom had the chile verde with eggs and I had the chile verde omelette. YUMMY! I ordered the DELICIOUS homemade flour tortillas and my mom ordered the DELICIOUS homemade corn tortillas and we shared. That makes this place even more special. Carmena took great care of us too!

Love this spot for some good Mexican food. The staff is super friendly and on top of their jobs. The place is small and quaint. The food is good and hearty. Some of the best deals for Mexican food in town. I use to come here a lot when I coached at Clovis North, and since being back home have eaten here often again. I usually get the combination platter of chicken enchilada and two beef tacos. The rice and beans mix well. And lastly you can't beat that tall ice cold pint of Dos Equis Amber on tap. I wash it down quickly on a hot day. Thank you!

My wife and I were disappointed. We really wanted to love this place. Our friends recommended it. I had ordered the Chile Verde omelette, it came with potato slices, and beans. So my experience with Chile Verde comes from almost ordering Chile Verde wherever it is offered. In addition my wife is Mexican and she's made Chile Verde many times and not just for me but for others but gets compliments all the time. The Chile Verde should not be watery. The sauce should be more of a gravy. I got to give it to this place though, they were pretty busy so they do have fans. My wife and I did not finish our dish. We had to go elsewhere to fulfill our stomachs.

First time visiting this restaurant for lunch today and we were so happy with our experience! We walked in, were greeted, and were given our choice of table or booth immediately. We chose the comfy booth. Chips and salsa were promptly brought out. Our server was kind, knowledgeable, and took our order with a smile. We made modifications, and it was no trouble at all. For example, instead of beef in the tacos, we ordered them with Fajita Veggies, and instead of refried beans, pinto beans. Let me tell you, I eat beans every week... these were the most tender and flavorful beans I've had at a restaurant, like ever! Our chips got refilled and we added some pico de gallo as well. My order came with a salad. Had to also try a side of the fresh flour tortillas, so glad we did! At the table, we also got an order with Chile relleno and a taco with beef. The Chile relleno sauce was awesome so we asked for some more, no problem whatsoever, so accommodating, and just plain comfortable eating there- like we were regulars or something- who knows, maybe we will be. On the way out when paying, we had the privilege of meeting the owner,Greg. He was so personable and genuinely appreciated our feedback from our first experience there. Highly recommend checking out this great little gem of a restaurant. We practically licked the plates clean! We will definitely be back soon!

Bland food, rice was over cooked. Chips and salsa were the best thing. Wasn't impressed with the food when we stopped in for lunch.

Came here for lunch for the nachos. There was not a lot of cheese which I expect of nachos otherwise they were pretty good. The restaurant was decorated nice and our server was very friendly.

Always amazing!!! The chips are fresh, the salsa is spicy, and the cold beer is perfect. The chili verde enchiladas are my go to. Great flavor and lots of pork in each.

Chips and salsa were good. My complaint is the portion size. This was the chili Colorado plate that was served to me. Almost $17 for 5 small cubes of meat. Won't be back.
