We stopped here based on the Yelp reviews and I must say it was better than what we expected. Service was exceptional and food was delicious and authentic. We actually think the food is way better that other Mexican restaurant in the area. Definitely a little hidden gem in Modesto. We'll be returning soon.

The enchiladas and crunchy tacos are amazing, and I really admire that it's a genuine family-run business. Friendly and welcoming service. The corn chips are the thick, quality kind--not the cheap ones, which shows they care about the details. I highly recommend this place!!

Got a breakfast burrito this morning and it was 80% refried beans, almost no potato or egg and the bits of bacon they did put in were not fully cooked, it felt stretchy and nearly raw. Worst breakfast burrito I've had, even if the bacon had been cooked.

Having the Menudo really good service is good small clean definitely check this place out. You won't be disappointed. Food is very authentic.

Happy to try out a new local Mexican restaurant. I had the huevos con chorizo breakfast burrito with coffee, my wife had the pozole, we both had agua fresca's also. The burrito was great, perfect egg to chorizo ratio , it also had refried beans and cheese in it. My wife enjoyed the pozole, the pork was tender and had good flavor. The coffee was served a little different. I was given a paper cup of hot water, with a small container of instant coffee and sugar on the side. It was fine, but I'd prefer just plain brewed coffee in a mug. We definitely are planning a return trip and wish this business success!

This restaurant has great food and staff that are friendly, making it seem like a family-owned business. I highly recommend giving it a try.

First time here, very clean welcoming atmosphere , the food was awesome had a breakfast burrito with chorizo, egg potato & bean. They also have a nice salsa bar, yummy. Another plus is the open at 9am on weekends & have menudo & pazole. Service was great, We will definitely be back can't wait to try more. Great to see a Mexican restaurant that is not trying to be bougie but just have great authentic food. Thank youSorry no pics I forgot, woops

This place is awesome! Had a Dr. appt in Modesto I wanted Mexican food. Wasn't to familiar with city. Ran into Rana's Taqueria. Its one of those hole in the wall place those are always the best! The customer service was awesome very nice place and clean. Very good food

OMG just trying their chorizo burrito.. comes with potatoes eggs and cheese. I added sour cream to mine and it's so good!! I promise!! And I'm very picky about my chorizo and eggs.Very flavorful and tasty. You have to get it! I had mine with the green salsa and it's the perfect combination. I live across the street from here and come here often and everything has been good so far. I recommend you try it!!

Hubby and I just had a wonderful lunch today. We had Pastor and Asada crispy tacos and a Bean and cheese burrito. Everything was really yummy! The place is very clean and the staff are so friendly and nice. So far we have had breakfast burritos, tostadas, tacos and chili rellenos. All very good. I like to support these Mom and Pop places so we can keep them in business.
