Ramon's Tacos

Ramon's Tacos has been my go-to road trip taco spot on my way to and from Yosemite for years. Funny story, I actually remember being the one to put this taco stand on the Yelp map (on my old account). I'm still first to review in spirit.Anyway, these tacos are so bomb. The meat is amazing. I usually get a combination of carne asada, chicken, and al pastor. You really can't go wrong. The tacos come in corn tortilla shells with salsa, grilled onions, and sliced avocado. The grilled onions and salsa are both amazing. Last time I was here, I ordered a carne asada burrito supreme style, and now I can't wait to order another one on my way back. It was humongous, and totally satisfied my burrito craving. The food here is super legit. It's reasonably priced, and tastes amazing. If you're on your way to or from Yosemite and see them on the side of highway 140, don't pass them up!

Cash only truck!!! I ordered a torta and 3 tacos and they were so good! The food here is Better than most tacos spots I've visited. We stopped by on the way back from Yosemite and were happy they were still open. I used the cashback option at the tiny store next to the truck to get $40. It was enough and we still had $15 leftover. If you're on your way to Yosemite or back, stop by and have something to eat.

I want to preface the 4 start review saying the food was 5+++ stars. We happened upon this food truck on our way home on the 140. Kids were griping and hungry as we'd left too early for our normal stop. I saw the truck and hopped over to hang the left and make the stop. The menu isn't huge, it's focused clearly on what they do so well. I got a burrito - the ultimate to go, on-the-road food. Al Pastor supreme burrito was amazing. The first thing I noticed was how they put the burrito back on la plancha to crisp it up. Oooh, nothing better than a good tortilla, the smell that wafts up as you open the aluminum wrapper is pure goodness. Filled with pastor, super juicy and tender, rice, beans, tangy & spicy green salsa, crunchy onions and sour cream, this was a real treat. Every last bite was worth the drips that snuck through the wrapper...The tacos were so overloaded with meat! Both kiddos had asada tacos, and again the meat was tender, juicy, flavorful. The green salsa us just so darned good!! If I'd known I'd have asked for a cup to take with. The corn tortillas had good flavor enhanced by the time on the plancha and held together really well with the juicy tacos. Gal at the window was friendly and answered all our questions with a smile. If you're in the area, or on the road nearby, make the stop. You will be so happy you did.

Solid spot.It's my go-to when driving in to Yosemite and need something filling. They're right next to a teeny market and because of that they don't sell beverages. You got to go in the market for that. I guess that's the deal for parking their truck there- they help one another's business out.I've gotten a burrito, quesadillas, and tacos. Can't say anything bad about any of them. Good portions and tasty.I wish they had extra sauces included.Cash only!

Food truck right when leaving Yosemite. It tasted fresh, but wait can be a bit long. I ordered tacos while everyone else ordered burritos. They loved that it was a huge portion and super yummy. It tasted fresh for sure. There's a bathroom inside the shop if needed also.

Great taste of their burrito. Me and my best friends ordered and it was a quick service as well. The burrito was huge and the meat was tasty. Cabeza is what i ordered. I'll buy here again. Thanks for the great service. 5 stars!

I ordered an al pastor burrito. I'm not sure what they gave me but it was reminiscent of hamburger helper in flavor and texture. My husbands lengua burrito was flavorless. I understand al pastor flavor varies, but I expect some kind of flavor. If you didn't have pastor you should let the customer know, not fry up some nasty fatty salty meat. Save your money, I wish I would have waited until we hit merced. I called to try to get ahold of someone but they didn't pick up.

The food is delicious, the service is amazing and the location is perfect. We were at the opening and was so excited the buzz on the street with theMariachi's playing fantastic music on the street of Glendora Blvd. We came all the way from Newport Beach and can't wait to go back. Good Job
