Ramen vs Pho

Tasty pho. Friendly service. Hip atmosphere with manga comics on the walls. Deservedly busy. I'll be back!

Uh, I don't want to be mean, but I feel cheated. $5.50+ for 4 Slices of Charsu, but I got deep fried pork... what?? Deep fried is very very different from Charsu Pork Slices. I mean if y'all don't have the product at least inform the customer ahead before placing the order. Won't be coming back. I was really looking forward to the Pork Charsu in my Ramen. Shame. I know it was slightly busy, but that should not be an excuse. Take out order. Ordered in store.

First visit was amazing. Second visit scared us away for good. Please take care of your employees. This was only our 2nd time here and my goodness your server made it so uncomfortable we just left. It's 3pm on a Sunday. The restaurant was dead. We got there and she was cleaning tables so I politely asked if she can start us off with spicy edamame. She brought out the edamame and waters and continued to ignore us lmao. I can't help but laugh because it was literally that sad. We sat there for 20 minutes became the only people in the restaurant. Again, we were the only people in the restaurant and she just continued cleaning tables ignoring us. Then 2 guys came in and sat. They sat for 10minutes and she didn't even come greet them lol so I was like ok we're never going to get serve and if we do she's probably going to spit in our food because she doesn't want us to be here. I paid for our edamame and left. Oh and the best part, she was cleaning the table next to us and sprayed the cleaning solution on the table and sprayed us with the solution!! lol we just looked at each other and laughed because we were like oh ish this is really happening. She was so unhappy it made it so uncomfortable to be there. We paid for our edamame and left. Our first visit was so good that we returned. The first visit we had spicy tonkatsu and spicy edamame and the service was great. We had a white gentleman who seem to really care. Unfortunately this recent visit just killed it for us. The poor girl/server she hates her job. I hope the best for this restaurant. I hope future patrons don't experience what we did.

Second time visiting and second time with bad customer service. I thought the first time that we came here, Maybe we just got a bad server having a bad day now I'm starting to think that most of their employees simply don't care about good customer service. When coming in we asked to sit at a table that was big enough to where we can sit by side-by-side not across from each other. I'm not sure why this was such a put off to our server Joseph. After a big sigh and eye roll, he asked us to sit at the bar while he cleaned off a bigger table for us. After waiting 15 minutes, our table was ready. after we were given menus, we didn't get our order taken for another 30 minutes. The food is great, but the service is bad. It is just such a turn off to come to a place where i love the food only to be treated so poorly. I would recommend takeout or another place in general. Feel free to check out Ramen Hayashi great service great prices and you don't have to wait 45 minutes to place an order.

I liked this place but it is quite far from me to come back for. Like the title they have both options! I got the ramen and liked mines (forgot what I got) but I believe I'd get a different one to try the next time I was around. I should've requested my dessert earlier though because it had to be made from scratch and take 30 mins but I didn't mind the wait since I was craving it and it was delicious and in a nice setup afterall. My only thing was trying to get our server's attention at times when the floor wasn't busy (another table was waiting as well), I'd assume he didn't notice because he was a bit distracted with something else. Other than that, the artwork on the walls were nice to look at!

A fun little place with all kinds of anime and manga art and inspiration. Even the menu is designed manga style. The waitress was thorough in clarifying our order. The pho and ramen were delivered to us by the chef. The down side was that my ramen broth was a bit salty and they had run out of the pork chashu which meant they substituted it with brisket but it is not the same. I did get an extra egg which was perfectly done, nice and jammy inside.

Great place for ramen and pho lovers. We tried two types of ramen- tonkatsu and milky, and the beef pho with shrimp. Appetizers were great too- chicken, crab rangoons and edamame. We will definitely be back.

Awesome service and a lively atmosphere. Our large party was sat quickly. We had a variety of appetizers, Ramen and Pho. It had been a busy night so they were completely out of rice. I guess that's what we get for coming late when the food was so yummy. we will return.

The service was horrible. We called before we went to give it a second chance, and yet again they failed. We really try to support local businesses coming from being in the food industry. There was a table available and the waitress told us to wait outside in the cold mind you at 6:30pm until the table was cleaned. When asked to speak to a manager the young man said we don't have one but the owners husband is there cooking. The owners husband was nonchalant to the customers and their wait times. There were other people who left as well for the rude service and lack of acknowledgment. I'm not asking to cater to me but at least give me some in n out service, not Mc Donald's service. To the owners I understand rush hours and moments where we you may be understaffed, but there are better ways to treat people under pressure. On that note don't forget that the reason you are in business is because of your customers. If I could give a negative number it would be -10, no accountability from anyone in the restaurant. I highly recommend Hayashi on 99 and Herndon or Kurotaka Ramen. After we left went to Hayashi and within 20min we sat had our food and exceptional customer service.

Fantastic food.... Delicious broth, perfectly cooked noodles, lots of yummy toppings! I chose Ramen vs Pho for my birthday dinner because my kids can never decide if they want ramen or pho... both sounded good to me, so I ordered via DoorDash. What could have been a disappointing night turned into an incredible evening.... That being said, this review is solely to praise the exceptional service by Kelara (I know that's spelled incorrectly- I apologize)! DoorDash initially cancelled my large order (around $178). I called the restaurant to confirm they were open as I didn't get a reason for the cancellation. Immediately, Kelara expressed genuine concern and worked very diligently to help me. I put the order in again (with her on the phone) and she saw it come in, but it didn't print on their end. She efficiently hand wrote my order (which was obviously quite large) and ensured she would provide it to the chef. Throughout everything, she called me back a couple of times to follow up and update me on the status of the order, when the driver arrived, etc. EXCELLENT communication... to be honest, it was unexpected (especially in today's society), but I was so impressed with the professionalism, empathy, and level of care that Kelara expressed throughout the whole process. She's amazing and we'll be back just for her incredible service! My ONLY regret was that we didn't dine in so we could tip her for such a wonderful dinner. And no, she didn't know it was my birthday... but she STILL exceeded our expectations! THANK YOU, KELARA!!!!!!
