The food and the service was top tier! The bbq is amazing yall. Do yourself a favor and visit this establishment and meet the amazing cook Dr. Phil On The Grill! Five starz well deserved.

I was walking around River Park while the farmers market was going on and the smell of this BBQ place overpowered all the other food trucks. The smell was so delicious I started levitating like when a cartoon character smells pie. Like a moth to a flame. Upon arrival, this place practically had no line! I was immediately greeted like family by the owner who had no issue answering any questions I had.I'm a big fan of brisket so you know I had to order the sandwich and it was soooooo good. Little bit pricy for the size, but standard for most BBQ places around here. The meat was tender and juicy, it practically melt in my mouth. They give you a choice of sweet or spicy BBQ sauce and I for sure recommend the spicy. Its not too crazy, but enough to elevate the sandwich with a tangy kick. Def recommend this place if its in the area. You might have to follow the instagram since their food truck schedule may vary.

Went to Crowe and Wolf and Q Masters food truck was there. Tried the brisket sandwich and a side of mac and cheese. Unfortunately , the brisket was tough and fatty, not appetizing at all. It was cut in chunks instead of sliced. The mac and cheese side didn't really taste cheesy. Tasted like they tried to water it down with chicken broth or something. Won't be back again. Paid $19 for both. Not worth it.

BEST BBQ in CLOVIS!!! Hands down. Not even close. Phil and Dusty are super nice. This place is inside the Valero at Sunnyside and Tollhouse in Clovis.The Tri tip sandwich was the best I have ever had. They cut the Tri tip into small pieces, add grilled peppers and onions, mayo and an incredible BBQ sauce. Just off the chart good! Ribs were really good and the Mac and cheese was creamy and again probably the best that I have ever had.Too many places have fatty Tri tip sandwiches or you take a bite and a piece as long as the sandwich pulls out. Not this place! Honestly don't know if I will every go to another BBQ place in town after this experience.

Such a Great experience! I was greeted from the time I walked in. It was pretty busy. They are hidden in a gas station. A hidden gem! =) I ordered the Mardi Gras chicken plate SPICY with baked beans and macaroni and cheese. Paid for the order and waited a short time and it was ready, handed over along with good day wishes from workers. =) Lunchtime! Wowza! Smelled really delicious! Of course it tastes as great as it smells! The macaroni was cheesy, seasoned and really Fantastic! It gets better! Amazingly delicious and tender Mardi Gras chicken with the fantastic spicy sauce and fresh bread! Wow! Really impressed! Flavorful! A little messy, but well worth it! The baked beans were smoky and really delicious too! Definitely the best BBQ I've had! Plus they have lots of other delicious items to try! Great service and delicious food! Highly recommended! They deserve every star!

As a southerner who's lived in California for decades, I generally find BBQ in CA meh at best. Most BBQ in CA is either Santa Maria BBQ, and yes it's legit BBQ, or people doing a Texas BBQ with a Mexican twist. I saw that it was in a gas station, got exited some the best food comes from gas stations, saw the Georgia license plate on a truck filled with hardwood knew that magic was about to happen. 3 minutes into a conversation with Phil, he stops my order and say I got you and proceeds to give the ultimate sampler platter. Meats where all on point and flavorful. Ribs where a standout lightly glazed and no need for a sauce. Talking of sauces he has a regular sauce and spicy sauce, combining the two gives you a sweet and sassy sauce that was good on everything. The sides where all good, especially liked the beans and mac and cheese. Easily the best BBQ I haven't made myself in over a decade. Highly recommend.

Ordered the tri tip sandwich with Mac n cheese & pilaf. Everything was DELICIOUS!! Definitely will be ordering again. They greet you when you walk in and make you feel welcome.it's tucked inside the Valero Gas Station.

I was looking for some lunch today and craving some good barbecue. Found this place on Yelp. Here's the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Let's start with the food: DELICIOUS, good portion size. I decided to get the tri tip sandwich with All the smoke. Never had tri tip sandwich with onions and peppers and I have to say- it was excellent! Potato salad and beans did not disappoint. Now I typically like my tri to be lean, this one had a lot of fat. No points off for that, I know a lot of people who love the fat, but not me. But the flavor was spot on. The Bad and ugly? It is in a gas station store and there's no sign on the building. Not a big deal. Also, when you get good hot bbq, you want to sit down and eat right then. But that's OK too. I found a nearby park and enjoyed my lunch.It would be nice if it was in a sit- down spot but finding nice lower cost real estate? I get it.Service was great. Grated at the door. Helped me decide what I wanted. Down south hospitality. No problems there.Overall, yep, that's what I was looking for. Thank you I'll be back.

We found this amazing food truck at River Park on a Saturday night. Spoke with Phil about tri tip and our previous bad experience at another establishment. He was so kind that he gave us a sample of the tri tip. It was delicious! We ordered a tri tip sandwich, a brisket sandwich and the hot links. They were amazing and so delicious! Phil and his wife were very kind and we are looking forward to enjoying their food again. Definitely worth a visit.
