Pinky Nails & Spa

Made an appointment for myself, my sister and mom. We three got mani's and pedi's. I got gel polish for both my hands and toes and my mom and sister got gel pedi's and acrylic mani's. First the place is so much more open and bright than the previous owners had it. They do space their appointments apart so they don't have multiple clients at one time. Much appreciated during COVID times. They wear their masks and don't require you to wear yours but it is appreciated if you do. (I did out of courtesy) Most places have a price list and this place had NONE. You're pretty much going in there blind and hope they don't over charge you. Which I feel is what happened to me and my mom. I just wanted a basic gel mani and pedi and I let her know ahead of time exactly what all three of us wanted. However, during the process, they massaged and trimmed my cuticles and those were extra charges I thought came with the services I was quoted for. For my mom they used the dip nail polish without consulting with her first, and again that was an extra charge. Needless to say when she gave us the total I was startled but didn't make a big deal out of it. Just be mindful of the sneaky services they will do without consulting with you first. When my cuticles were being trimmed, the gentleman doing it cut my thumb and I started bleeding. He apologized profusely which I appreciated, accidents happen but it doesn't negate that it hurt. My thumb was sore and red for the rest of the day into the next day. My mom had a similar experience to mine with being cut and she just wasn't completely happy with her nails. Her thumb had a big bump and they started chipping the next day. Also they use clean buffers when you're getting a pedi and they use plastic to cover the tub but that's about it. I have been to other salons that treat their cuticle cutters, nail trimmers, nail files and other nail things like a tattoo shop. Everything gets sanitized between customers or they open brand new everything in front of you. Not this place. So just gotta hope you don't get an infection. I suggest you only come here for your basic polish needs. They are not "artsy" artists so don't come here with something complicated or elaborate cause you won't be getting those needs met. Overall I don't know if I will come here again.

I've never been to a nail salon that made me excited to go back the staff at Pinky pay such close attention to detail and make you feel so comfortable. I LOVE the way my nails look - truly have never had a better dip mani or pedi!

I love Pinky's! Both Tina and Ben are the nicest people and very professional and never let me down. As a matter in fact, Tina knew I like my toe nails and finger nails to match, especially in the summer. Since I get my toes with gel and fingernails are done with healthy nails, Tina matched up my favorite toe color with a mixture of healthy nails for me before I got to the salon! She's so sweet! The only difficulty they are experiencing is that sometimes they can not accommodate a walk-in if they have a scheduled appointment at the same time! So, make an appointment to get accommodated!

1st time here the other day . Had a wonderful pedicure . The place is very clean and they space out appointments so that there aren't several people in the shop at one time . The owners are very nice too!!! I'll be coming back !!

This service here is excellent. The shop is also very clean. A hidden nail salon gem. Recommended to all.

OMG, I love Pinky Nails and Spa! I have been a customer of theirs for about 4 months now and have not once been disappointed. I only get gel manicures on my real nails, and the gel usually lasts for 3 weeks, sometimes 4 depending on how much i am dipping my hands in water (washing the dishes/car, cleaning, swimming, etc..). Tina is my manicurist and she is so sweet, everyone in the shop is friendly and kind. The price of a manicure is not bad, considering the side of town in which they are located, initially i was expecting their prices to be high, but no not bad. The shop is very clean inside and hygienic practices are seen here. Schedule an appointment ahead of time, so you do not have to wait.

Best nail salon I've been to in my 23 years in Fresno. Undoubtedly the cleanest I've ever seen and I've been to a lot. So glad I found this place. Very professional. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing salon! Tina is so kind and sweet and it was such a relaxing experience for my daughter and I!

Was greeted promptly upon early arrival for my appointment. Didn't have to wait long. Quality of work was great ( gel manicure and fixed a broken nail on one finger) . The bonus was the hand massage after the manicure. I'll be back

I followed Tina from another salon when she opened Pinky! Tina is the kindest, easiest person to talk with. She is attentive to your manicure, always gets you in, and has a knack for helping you pick out the perfect color. I always look forward to my manicures with Tina!The salon is clean and well decorated. The location is wonderful. The parking lot has plenty of parking and there are other good businesses nearby. I full recommend Pinky Nails!
