Full disclosure... I love this place! I have been coming here for decades. I like that the owners that purchased the business from the original family years ago kept everything pretty much the same. Sandwiches are great! My personal favorite is the Michelangelo, O &O Italian style (no mustard or mayo, but oil and vinegar and oregano.) The deli counter is cool too, you can get your pancetta fix here. The lunch rush can get pretty crazy... The staff does a great job, but if you walk in at 12:15, you won't be walking out at 12:30. I always call ahead to order. No seating inside, there are a couple of small tables outside though. Definitely a takeout deli situation. We live in the tower district, and are so happy when we can support local businesses that are owned and operated by cool people who keep traditions in our neighborhood alive. This should definitely be on your lunch option list!

So consistently good! Crafted with care, sandwiches are always on point, plenty of tasty ingredients...and that bread- I love it! My favorite side is always the pasta salad, so fresh and delicious! Ordered a yummy sandwich and side, and it was all devoured! Gotta check this place out!

We Love the sandwiches from here! Fresh deli meats paired with their homemade potato salad is the best! I definitely recommend their Piemonte special or their turkey and avocado sandwiches!

First I wanna give a shout out to the amazing and super sweet crew that work here. The awesome guy who chatted with me for a sec, wearing a baseball cap and a red shirt, the food was awesome! Thank you! I think he was the manager and he was the coolest! I told him it was my first time here and He made sure to check in and see how we were doing; it did not disappoint! Got the Piemonte Special just the way it is. They do have a sign that says "oil and vinegar optional" so I will definitely have to ask for some in my sando next time. The meats were so good! Great flavor, melt in your mouth with the cheese and the fresh veggies. A little Mayo and mustard spread to add additional flavor to elevate it that much more. 10/10.Jess got the Hot Meatball Sandwich. Gooey melty cheese, sauce was savory, meatballs were soft. They even had onions throughout for a nice surprise. Bread manages to hold everything in from start to finish. 10/10Place is beautiful and nostalgic. Like walking into the day they first opened. Lovely deli counter full of all kinds of meats and cheeses. Continue down to the pasta salad and dinner case. Yes they make Lasagna, Spaghetti and a few other pasta dishes as well as some of the best Macaroni Salad to pair nicely with your Sando. A wall of different pastas, sauces, chips and miscellaneous items take up the rest of the spot. Love the pictures of the crew and memories from past. It's a genuine spot. It's the real deal kind of spot. It's a beautiful place that I can't wait to come back to. Also they make Lemon Bars and Tiramisu! Both were delicious! You're walking out of here with a full meal for a great price!

They have great options from sourdough bread and gluten free grain. Always great quality sandwiches no matter which you choose. Although I wish they would have a more healthier oil option.

This is probably the second-best Italian sub I've ever had. The staff was super friendly and I know it can get busy, but at 1:30 on a Saturday, it was pretty calm and the sandwiches were done within 5 minutes. The inside feels like more of a market than a restaurant but the outdoor patio is a nice place to enjoy your food.

I love all their sandwiches! Of course you have to have a side of their pasta to complement your sandwich. Been coming here for 15 years.

I finally tried this local gem after almost a decade of saying, "I'll try it some day." I was in tower for the lunch hour. There was a lunch line and the workers were friendly, fast, and efficient! Loved it. It's got a italian deli/market vibe inside. The employee working the counter recommended the Italian vegetarian sandwich. It was an 8 inch sandwich and filled with all sorts of veggies. I added vinegar and oil. The next time, I'll go without it. It got my sandwich too soggy. While I waited, I looked at their deli sides available. There was a refrigerator with uncooked pastas, pizza dough, and sauce available for purchase to make at home. YUM. The tortellinis looked so good. I'll have to try it one of these days, lol.I really enjoyed the sandwich and glad to eat local! My only take is I wish the bread was a bit thicker. Otherwise, I loved this Italian vegetarian spin from Piemonte's!

Been going to Piemontes for over 40 years. My dad took me as a kid and we used to get sandwiches every other weekend. Just got my first Piemontes in a few months (after new ownership) took first few bites, and first time it didn't take me back to being a kid. Tasted like a different bread supplier. I had two bites where I got the stem end of the pepperoncinis (always been cut perfectly. Even down to taking out sandwiches in white paper bags with a handle vs the simple brown paper bag.Subtle differences, that make a difference to me at least. I understand new owners that change things up, and add their twist on things. Just be careful those subtle differences for those loyal long time (crazy customers like me) that love Piemontes.
