Pho Viet 101

Is it possible for the decor to be both nice and plain? I struggle with describing the interior. It's very clean and welcoming. The staff is helpful. Verp patient and answers questions. The reason I will keep coming is the pho. The broth is great. The additions go from the basic meatballs to filet mignon. It also helps that it's close to home.As an added bonus, you can buy lottery tickets as well.

Best pho in Clovis! But sadly, each year their menu shrinks and they raise the price. Especially the pho portion and the price! With this price and their menu size, Fresno have better pho. Service : very friendly and speedy.Ambience : they don't have a lot of customers so it does get really quiet and peacful.

Updating once again..they brought bowls back on to go orders so now I can order for lunch once again! The girl in the front is always polite so customer service is great. Kids menu still never gives a juice when ordered so that should just come off the menu. No other complaints so far. Hope they keep this up since this is my most convenient go to place. Make sure you ask for their card. After 10 bowls you get one free.

The best veggie pho and fried shrimp! Clean and simple flavors. This is our favorite pho spot. Everything is delicious

Nice little place with pretty good customer service. Unfortunately, the food is decent at best. There are about 5 solid Vietnamese spots near our place in San Diego. This place needs to up their food game for sure. We got a good sized order to go. 3 pho's, a Bahn Mi, and some stir fried noodles.The lemongrass beef Banh Mi was a disappointing sandwich. The beef had a decent flavor but the veggies were weak. Normally, Banh Mi come with bold flavored pickled daikon and carrot. That gives a good compliment to any meat. This sandwich had a tiny amount, didn't even realize it was there. Lastly, it should be on a French baguette. It did seem to be a French bread thing but something just wasn't right. It seemed to be more like a hoggie bead or something.The pho Viet 101 Special and seafood pho were decent, nothing special. It comes with the broth separate from the rest so the noodles don't get soggy.The stir fry egg noodles with seafood didn't look great and the taste was just OK.Vietnamese coffee was delicious! To be honest, we probably won't be back. But it's a decent option.

3.5 stars but I'm holding off from giving them a 3. I want to give it another shot. Especially because the owner seems so nice. They have potential but a few things need to be changed...I'm so excited they brought sandwiches back. The owner doesn't speak English much so I couldn't really chat with him about it. But he did say the menu was new when I asked. The lemongrass beef had an authentic flavor according to hubs. However the bread was too dry. :( if they can get better bread maybe this would be a new staple. I'm on the mission to find my go to fresno Vietnamese sandwich that doesn't break the bank and still searching lol. The pho was good, soup wise. Meat was fine. Something about the noodles they used I didn't really like. It may have been because I got it to go so the noodles didn't cook the way I would've liked. They did package the to go bag very nicely and brought it outside to me and the restaurant looked super clean to my surprise. I can tell they've worked on it and there is new decor.It's next to Rare tea ;)

Stopped by after running errands.. this place did not disappoint The place is nice on the inside, very simple but comfortable. The service to customers is amazing, very friendly and welcoming. Food was great. They provide all the fixings to make your plate to your own liking. Definitely will be coming back

Came here and ordered the pho king special, that comes with a massive beef rib and bone marrow, and the pho with sirloin and meatballs. Overall the broth was good and the pho came out in a timely manner. The beef bone was huge and bone marrow was gelatinous. You can also order these on the side for $5 each if you do not want both (I saw this option after ordering). Next time, I probably would just get a regular bowl of pho with the beef rib on the side as I'm not a fan of bone marrow in general. This bowl costs $25 which is pricey for a bowl of pho but the ingredients put into make it this price. The amount of noodles was also not as fulfilling as a large bowl of pho from other places in Fresno. However the portion was just the right amount for me, as eating a large bowl usually puts me into a food coma lol. The location of this shop is probably what sets it apart because there isn't really any other pho shops around this area and living near here makes it easy to get a nice, hearty bowl of pho without having to drive 20 min somewhere else. Definitely would come back if I was feeling lazy and didn't want to drive further than 20 min.

This is my second review and I can't say enough about how I love this place!! The owners and staff make you feel like family! I usually do take out and they always prepare either fresh water or a cup of tea while I wait. Everything is so clean and inviting!The food is amazing! It's always fresh and so flavorful and no doubt home made. From the appetizers to the Pho, to the lunch and dinner dishes, I've never ever had a mediocre meal, it's always been 5 star and that's a lot for me to say!! Thank you all!!!

My favorite place for pho and Thai tea! I usually always go during Sunday afternoons with my family. We've been going here for a long time. Their Thai tea is my favorite, the best Thai tea I've ever had. The workers are friendly as well!
