Nothing fancy, just good old fashion food with friendly people. A small town eatery in a lovely small town.

Service is awesome. Food is delicious and a good value. My son had the alfredo and it's better than some well known Italian place. Will come back again

Pete's the best. Big portions. Fresh food. Fast and friendly service. Very reasonable price. Burgers and Clam chowder are delicious.

After looking at the reviews on Google and here on Yelp I figured I'd give Pete's place a try. I don't know if it was an off day or something was wrong with the kitchen but the food was just subpar. As we walked in, the place was quite small with Booths lined up against the wall. The declarations were of a Christian theme which I did not mind.First off the service, the young man who attended to us was a great help and just did what he could do with what he had at the time. Unfortunately he had no control on what's going on in kitchen. My companion ordered a chicken salad. What she got was a salad with leafy greens topped with a fried chicken breast. It was rubbery and tasteless. And a leafy greens with it were limp and not very fresh. As for me I order the pot roast. I was thinking it was Marie callender's style with vegetables mixed into it and a hearty gravy that topped the meat. When I got was a tragic looking 4 slices of overcooked and literally chewy/gray matter that's their roast beef. The vegetables were on the side and not in the gravy mix. I tried eating it and it was just awful. So After I explain the situation, the young man retook my order and I have gotten the California chicken broiler with bacon. That was an improvement but not enough to save the evening. The broiled chicken breast was overcooked and felt like biting into a melted hockey puck. The conclusion I'm not planning on returning to this place.

and oh my God, that cappuccino cake is to die for. good straightforward food, always my go to the place when I want actual dinner or lunch ...

Excellent food and service. Staff is very friendly. Probably the cleanest kitchen vent/grill I have ever seen.

The food was delicious! We also spoke with Pete, the owner and cook. he came by our table to see how our meal was. Very friendly!

Great food good prices less than 50 bucks for salad and soup and dessert all top notch nice people too

The first thing that drew me to this place was the sense of comfort and being at home when I walked through the door. We were instantly greeted by who I'm assuming is the owner and were sat right away as it is self seating. Once we had ordered, the food was on our table within five minutes, and tasted delicious. The homemade black bean chili is to die for!!! The restaurant, and bathroom, was very very clean. The customer service here is unbeatable and we had a great experience!

The food was ready on time for my pickup, it was delicious and the portions are generous. Family owned and they are helpful, friendly and kind people.
