Always been a fan of their tres leches cake. Service is okay, the man who took my order seemed like he didn't want to be there. Recently ordered a custom 2 tier cake tres leches mocha flavor cake for my moms bday and it was very delicious. Loved how it came out. Left is what I wanted, right is what they were able to come up with. One satisfied customer

We picked up a tres leches strawberry filled cake and it was delicious. The staff are very kind and patient as I wasn't sure of what type of cake I wanted. Please understand that they specialize in cakes and not many other baked goods so they do not carry bread or cookies that I saw or honestly asked about.Very reasonably priced and well worth the moderate cost.

Unsatisfied/Disappointed, AGAIN For a business that prides itself on "perfection", they certainly don't live up to it's name. I always place my orders 4 weeks in advance and pay in full before pick up. I ordered a 2 tier Minecraft theme cake for my son's birthday. I provided an image that I wanted the cake to resemble. The day of the pick up, I sent my brother to pick it up. He got to the party and said in disbeliefe, "You paid all that money for this?" As I saw the cake, I wanted to cry. It was TERRIBLE. The lack of effort that went into decorating this cake was unspeakable. The attendees at the party were also unimpressed with the UGLY cake presentation. (PLEASE see picture for the terrible job that they did) Foolishly, I decided to once again, order a cake. It was for fewer people and it was a 1 tier round cake. Again, ordered waaaay ahead of time and paid in full upon placing the order. Gave them design and color specifications. The day that I picked up the cake, NOT ONE SINGLE COLOR that I had previously specified was used on the cake. Everything was off. I told them about this and they simply didn't care to make an effort to make it right. I wanted to leave the cake but had already promised to bring the cake to a friend's party that was happening in a couple of hours. SAVE YOUR TIME and MONEY. The cakes are nothing out of this world.

I've been a fan of this place for years. I've just never written a review until now. This is a traditional cake bakery. They do not sell any other baked goods. Maybe that's why their cakes are so darn delicious because they dedicate themselves to making an almost perfect tres leches cake. The walnut one is delicious, but so is the strawberry one.....and the chocolate....okay they're all delicious in their own sweet way. I really do love that they sell individual cake slices for when the cake craving hits but you're ashamed to buy a whole cake for yourself. Lol they also sell Knick knacks, decor and a helluva lot of piñatas. If you're in the area, get yourself a slice and enjoy!

I needed a last minute cake for a birthday party and I looked for bakeries that would be open on a Sunday because I did not want a bland cake from a grocery store so I looked online and this one was near by when I got there there was a line and people where placing orders when it was my turn I asked if they had any cakes available for today and the lady said yes and she said there tres leches and they had chocolate strawberry and nut flavor I bought a strawberry one and omg it was so good and everyone at the party agreed that it was a great tasting cake I did not even have time for a picture next event I host I will definitely be getting another cake from here

My kids went here for my birthday cake . beautiful and was the most amazing cake I ever had and I'm very picky. I want to celebrate my birthday every day now if I can get cake like that . You need to try it . The frosting was so smooth cake so moist . My mouth watering talking about it . Good job pasteleria I am a friend for life .

My family always order cakes from here so I decided to give it a try for my daughter's birthday. Tres leches with strawberry filling. Yummy cake. Loved the simple decoration. Fit perfect with my theme.

We LOVE this bakery! We live in East Los Angeles & there is nothing as good as their Tres Leches cake! So when my mother in law, who lives in Reedley, turned 90, we knew we would order her cake from here! I dealt with Luis over the phone, who was extremely professional and kind. We needed a cake to serve 60, so he made a recommendation on the cake size & even offered to split the filling half & half, which we opted for- half chocolate & half strawberry.I had looked online & seen many of their cakes decorated beautifully with fresh flowers, so I asked about that & he suggested I bring some flowers by the day before to decorate her cake, so we did so.It turned out to be a beautiful cake and SOOO delicious! We had so many compliments on the cake and of course, everyone asking where we had gotten it.And Pasteleria Plaza even offers balloons! We had already purchased 90th birthday balloons, so they offered to blow them up for us for a nominal fee. Yay! Talk about a one stop shop!And don't forget to buy one of their Fireworks candles! We didn't get one for the 90th birthday for fear of scaring the older guests, but its been an ongoing tradition for other birthdays! So awesome to have a sparkly torch, fill the room with joy & light! LOVE, love, love Pasteleria Plaza!! You will too! Just wish you'd open an East LA location! Big, huge Thank you!

I ordered some cupcakes, gave a picture of what they should look like. They said ok "we can do it" . No they can't. I get there on pick up day. And the cupcakes are not designed as specified. I asked for a refund. They said they never charged me extra. This means they knew they would f*** up in advance ? Anyways don't go here. It wasn't hard for them to say no we can't do that. But they just wanted a sale.

The tres leches cakes are SO GOOD! They sell them by the slice too, which i love. I just wish they stayed open later than 5pm.
