Parkside Pizza

We ordered a pizza with half pepperoni and mushrooms/half meat onions olives. We asked for not garlic but they put lots in that we could smell and taste for days!! We also ordered dinner salads even though they're not on the menu with ranch and thousand island dressings. Salads come with cherry tomatoes, black olives and red onions. They have a good variety of fountain drinks (Pepsi products). They have takeout or dine in with tables and booths inside and outside. Much better than we were expecting.

I recently chose this place for a date night based off of the photos on Yelp, some of which look quite appealing.The restaurant is actually located right smack in the middle of the huge motel parking lot in El Portal, on the opposite side of the road from the Yosemite employee housing community. You kind of have to look for it, because the signage is not very great. Luckily, we both found it. Parking was not too difficult, although I had to park a minute's walk away.Based off of what people were saying on Yelp, my date and I ordered a large pizza with half meat combo and half "River" (chicken, white sauce, artichokes). The wait time was not too bad. There were only a few other people ahead of us, and it only took about ten to fifteen minutes for our pizza to come out.We asked for no mushrooms, and our ticket said "no mushrooms," but we received lots of huge mushrooms anyway. We just picked them off, since neither one of us is allergic or anything like that. My standards were honestly kind of low, because I was just hoping the pizza would be better than the pizza place in Curry Village. Honestly, it wasn't.Everything was fresh enough, but the pizza was just not that good. The crust was as bland and cardboard-esque as could be. The toppings weren't terrible, but they just tasted cheap. It was just not an impressive pizza.Based on the current menu, I don't think I would need to try this place again. If they added more modern, creative, or artisan menu items, then I would consider giving them another try.

There's not many places that have decent food around Yosemite, so I'm really glad Parkside Pizza exists. We called in our order to have it ready for pick up. Three of us shared a 16" green pesto and added salami with a side order of cheese breadsticks. The pizza was super flavorful and cheesy! The breadsticks were a little dry and definitely needed the marinara sauce. I didn't realize how filling the 16" pizza would be, so we ended up eating it for another meal.

Decent pizza - nice crust, good toppings, but cheese was cheap tasting. Had the House Special pizza, very garlicky yet tasty.Staff was friendly and pizza only took 15 min to get the pizza (served in a carry out box). The only items on the menu are pizza and also breadsticks. Have a handful of bottled beer, but you can get a better selection at the Lobby store. Limited seating both inside and outside.

When you're more famished than you've even been just about anything including the pizza box starts to look appetizing!Even if that wasn't the case the pizza here is surprisingly good. Crust was crispy not overdone, sauce and cheese are just right.Expect to pay about $14-$15 for a small and closer to $20 for a medium with any toppings. Very convenient especially if you're staying in Yosemite View Lodge or want something just outside the park (5 min drive to the entrance)

I hate that this place isn't open earlier on a Monday! We had to wait until it opened, but totally worth it. The pizza is sooooo cheeezy! You can literally see the cheese. It's outside of the Yosemite park, so try to get verification of your all day ticket or use the pass to get back in the park. There's parking available in lot with. Tesla super charger for my Tesla drivers! There's indoor/ outdoor seating also.

The pizza tasted bad. We got the House special pizza in a size medium and it was like 30$. It was super greasy, some of the sausages were burned and we had to take them off the pizza. The garlic tasted almost "fishy". If I knew that it was gonna taste like that, I would've not come here. Sitting inside didn't look that clean either. I know it's the only option around but it doesn't mean you have to settle for subpar food.

For a pizza place in a small town, the food was decent. Not the best pizza you'll ever have but it will definitely satisfy your appetite, especially after a long day of hiking. I was also surprised and happy that their ranch seems to be made in house. We got a large with pepperoni, sausage and jalopenos, a medium cheese and two fountain drinks - total was around $60. Oh and they have a NA beer which I thought was cool.

Great Pizza! Conveniently at hotel. We recommend the pizza joint over the river-side American-fare restaurant at the hotel.

The pizza and cheese bread were good but nothing too special. The service was bit bad we got our pizza in 10 mins. The pizza place was closed and we got our pizza from the bar so that was confusing. Overall it's was an okay experience
